Customer reviews for Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Anti-Rebound Bar Car Seat, Prescott forThis car seat feels super sturdy and safe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this car seat. Prior to receiving this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel we had our infant in a smaller car seat meant just for babies. And it was fine! But this 3-in-1 car seat is a major upgrade. It feels so solid and sturdy, so it gives me a lot of peace of mind about my kiddo's safety. And so far he seems to be fairly happy in it (his rate of fussing is about the same as always, and he's had some good naps on our longer rides). Given that our little guy is only 7 months old we haven't yet used this seat in toddler mode, but I can tell it will be great for that as well. It's so adjustable! The only downside of this seat is that I can't imagine using it in conjunction with a stroller -- which is what we were able to do with our previous car seat. So people with a newborn might prefer to get a smaller infant-only type of car seat for the early months. But at some point the baby gets too big to carry around in a car seat anyway, so a convertible seat like this is much better in the long run!
Great car seat!!
I originally had got an evenflo EveryKid car seat and I absolutely hated it. The foam in the headrest cracked after the first few times of use, the buckle was huge and the straps that go across baby’s waist actually went across my sons thighs and caused indents in his legs. It was also a pain to tighten the straps. So I decided to get this car seat and I’m so glad I did!! First off, I got it for a great price, secondly the set up was so much easier than the evenflo, and lastly it seems more comfortable for my son. The buckle isn’t big and bulky, the straps go where they are supposed to and it’s so much easier to tighten the straps. And I love that there’s extra protection with the anti-rebound bar. I highly recommend this car seat!
Well priced with good features and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we received this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was a little skeptical as I felt some brand loyalty to our first car seats (also a "lifetime" car seat). But we read the manual, loaded it up, and gave it a go. And we're glad we did! Cons: - The cupholders are smaller than our standard kid-sized water bottle, meaning they don't easily slide in for our little people. And the square shape has proven a teensy bit trickier to keep clean. - At first, we would have put the Fuss-Free Harness feature in the pros, as it is a consistent challenge to keep the harness open while loading kids. We had high hopes for this, but came away a little disappointed as the metal just slides right out of the little pocket. Great idea and lots of potential, just didn't quite work for us in reality with our active, wiggly toddler. Pros: - I like the anti-rebound bar as a safety feature to protect our little babes; having it as a standard feature is great! - The extendable panel for legroom has been great; our kiddo will be able to continue to grow into it, which is huge. - LOVE being able to have extended rear-face, as safety is the primary consideration in a car seat for us. - The install was simple and secure, which is great. You want to be able to easily install the seat for cleanings or just life-- but it is important to still have it be a safe and snug install. The level was easy to see and use. And the seat tilted smoothly and easily. - It is a little thing, but the LATCH system is easy to adjust and is well-stowed. On our other seats, straps dangle down and clang on the seat while in transit. We like that the straps here have a little storage system and are easy to adjust. - Great price point considering all the thoughtful features built in. - Our toddler climbs in and puts his arms in the straps-- he seems comfortable and we think he will enjoy the seat for years to come!
Great convertible car seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is such a great one! It is a 3 in 1 seat that can be used from infant to toddler to booster. It’s lightweight and so easy to install. I have a 4.5 and almost 3 year old and they both gave it a thumbs up for comfort. It is simple to adjust the head height and seatbelt tightness. The cup holders on both sides are nice to have and easy to remove to clean. My only complaint is they’re a little small and don’t fit most of their water bottles. Having the ability to adjust leg room is a huge perk. My kids are very different heights and it’s a quick fix to make this car seat comfy for both of them. Having the rear and forward facing level on the side ensures the right recline for your child. If someone is looking for an all in one seat, this is definitely one to consider. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Very reliable durable car seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 3-year-old and an almost three-month-old that we have tried this seat with. Finding a car seat that is safe, affordable, comfortable and easy to use is often a challenge. Our family received the Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat featuring Anti-Rebound Bar from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it seems to punch the ticket for all of our needs in one seat. Our very tall, 40 pound three year old is able to still sit in a rear-facing position comfortably, this is not even an option in our other car seat as he is cramped and restricted when rear-facing. The foot panel was an underestimated bonus to add extra space for his large feet and long legs. This combined with the anti-rebound bar option is very important to us as a safety feature since lots of research suggests that rear facing for as long as possible is best and the bar helps stabilize the seat well. Our son even mentioned that the seat was “cozy and soft” and did not complain about feeling uncomfortable when we went on a longer car ride. We have a higher end, premium brand car seat that feels like a much cheaper quality than this one and is significantly less comfortable for our 3-year-old. Our newborn also fit well in the Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat and it was very easy to add the inserts for her size and adjust the seat back and belts after our son used it. Not a cumbersome process at all, it only took a minute or two to change the seat from a fit for one child to the other. She seemed to be very comfortable while riding in it and it was a very plush offering for her. This seat earned points in my book for being easy to install in our vehicles, take off the cover for cleaning and replacement of the cover on the seat, our other seats are much more complicated than this model. As a dad that is tasked with these chores often, I can say it was a relief to not fumble through the install and cleaning. I also think the quality materials the seat is made of will stand up well for several years of heavy use by our rambunctious children. Overall our family would give the Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat featuring Anti-Rebound Bar five out of five stars. It hit all of our most important needs. The safety features are top-notch, the quality of the seat is even better than expected, and it is affordable enough to buy one seat for each car. The no-fuss installation was easy and fast, and the seat exceeded our comfort expectations for both children. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try out this amazing car seat!
Love that it does all 3, infant to toddler to kid
I really like the 3 in 1, I shouldnt have to buy another product for my child, since this becomes a booster. Which is super convenient. I like that you can take it apart so you can clean it, it’s just a little difficult to put back together, there’s also a lot of crevices for food to get stuck and lost in which makes it a wee bit gross but that’s ok. I like the functionality and adaptability of this
Car seat for many ages
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great car seat if you have kids of multiple ages. And if you don’t it’s a great investment because it definitely grows with your child. I really liked the extendable leg panel. I put my 4 year old in rear facing to see if he would be comfortable and I think he was a little too tall for rear facing with the extendable leg room but it for sure could go up to 3 years of age comfortably. I’m not so sure the rebound bar really made that bug of a difference for me as a feature. I think it may be nice to have in their younger ages, but not useful as they get older because all my son did was push his feet against the seat and his feet were able to go under the bar. The potential of his feet to get stuck under was high. I also put my 6 year old in it forward facing with a traditional seat belt and he was very comfortable and like that there was a head rest option. The fabric of the infant insert didn’t feel that high quality for soft for what I would have liked for my infant. Once those were removed the fabric underneath was very soft and smooth. Seems like it was be easy to clean and wash when needed. Another con is that It was a very tight fit in the rear facing position in my Toyota Corolla. I barely had room in my seat to sit comfortably while driving. It was fine forward facing. All in all, it’s a great extra car seat for us if I only needed to pick up one child and we would be able to adjust it to use it for all my kids from 2-6 years old. I recommend this for a car with more room rear facing like a van or SUV if you plan to rear face for a long time (past 2 years). Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat.
Love this car seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited to receive this car set and it didn’t disappoint! I like that it can keep my kid rear facing longer since you can extend the foot panel and the weight requirements is the highest I have ever had. The anti-rebound bar was very easy to install and it fit in our mini van no problem. If you have a smaller car it may be a tight squeeze because the bar does give a lot of extra leg room. I would recommend this to any parent who wants to keep their kid rear facing as long as possible. My daughter also thought it was a comfortable ride since her legs are usually bent but she has plenty of room to stretch with this car seat.
LOVE the Safety and Convenience Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was immediately impressed with the appearance and quality of the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat featuring Anti-Rebound Bar. The black fabric looks sleek and feels soft and plush. After clicking in the cup holders the seat was ready for install right out of the box. I did find the cup holders to be slightly small, not fitting all of our cups and bottles; this is the only downside I’ve found to this seat. -Installation was super quick and intuitive using the LATCH connectors. This seat can easily be adjusted after install with the no-rethread harness to fit my 2 year old or my 8 month old without having to uninstall the seat; this is a huge convenience and mom-win! Another one of my favorite features is the rapid remove cover that you can take off for cleaning without having to remove any straps. As anyone with a toddler knows, spills and messes are going to happen, so thank you to Graco for making clean up so much easier! -The reason I love this seat the most is it can be used rear facing up to 50lbs, one of the highest rear facing weight limits on the market!! It also has an extendable panel to offer extra leg room for comfort as my boy grows. I know he is safest rear facing and I’m grateful that he can stay that way for longer with this seat! I also appreciate the added safety feature of the anti-rebound bar that adds more stability to the seat and my babies in case of a crash. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this seat. I feel my babies are so safe and comfortable and it will grow with us for many years. I’m grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat to test (and fall in love with)!
Easy and safe carseat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this carseat puts safety first. I had not seen the rear facing stabilizer (anti-rebound bar) on any other carseat, and it provides me with more peace of mind as I am driving. I also love how easy it is to adjust the straps -- we use our carseats for multiple kids because we carpool, and I don't waste a bunch of time on adjusting. This carseat was the first one that my daughter used after using an infant carseat, and she seemed very happy with it. It clearly is much more comfortable, and the air circulation is better. I like that she comfortably will be rear facing in this for a while. It also seems to have more of a tilt than some of the other rear facing convertible carseats I have seen, so it is an easier transition. And it also is useful because I can put a bigger child in it who usually doesn't rear face any more without switching the carseat. The big kid told me she was comfortable in it. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
