I do not like these carseats. I start out liking them for about a month but switch these seats regularly between two cars and after about a month the extended leg room piece will not latch into any slots on both seats. No damage has been done to them they just stop latching in which was the whole reason I chose these seats as my 4 year old is still read facing and he is much happier with more leg room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this car seat for two years now and loved it until recently. It works great with the latch and is very secure, but you have to switch to using the seat belt to install at 40 lbs (rear-facing) or 45 lbs (forward-facing). My son is 4 years old (41 lbs and 43 in tall). He loves to ride rear facing and can do so comfortably in the middle seat of my Audi Q7. However, the seat is too big to fit on the seat with the extension panel fully extended in our other vehicles (Porsche Cayenne and Kia Forte) so he has to ride forward facing. Installation with the seat belt is fine in when the seat is rear-facing, but it's almost impossible when forward-facing. I ended up taking the seat to our local car seat safety check for help. Even after having them install it, the seat still moved too much. We've decided to just use it rear-facing in the Q7 and purchased another seat to sit forward facing in my wife and mother's cars.

My son just turned one year old and this seat has provided a great transition for him from his infant car seat. I love the fact that he is able to sit up straighter to be able to see, but is still rear facing. The anti-rebound bar is a feature I have not seen on any seat before but now love as it adds an extra level of protection in the rear facing position in the event of an accident. The leg room extension is probably my favorite feature of this seat allowing for comfortable extended rear facing. I have extended the panel a bit for my one year old to allow him a little extra comfort and am glad he will be able to use this seat for years to come. My almost three year old son is also able to comfortably ride in this seat rear facing with the leg room panel fully extended. One neat feature worth noting on this seat is the slots on each side of the cover to hold the buckles up while getting the child into and out of the seat. One of the most annoying things with putting my children in their car seats is digging the buckles out from underneath them. These slots on each side of the car seat cover allow the buckles to be tucked in so they are secured alongside the seat and do not end up stuck under the child when the child is placed in the seat. Features like this that make parents lives the tiniest bit easier on a daily basis are worth gold in my book. Another great feature that I am excited about, but have not yet utilized, is the Rapid Remove cover. Cleaning car seats is one of the worst but most necessary chores and the fact that this cover can be easily removed in 60 seconds sounds great. I look forward to trying this out soon when I need to clean the cover. My one year old’s favorite thing about this seat is the ability to sit up a bit straighter so he can see more as we are driving down the road. The cup holders are also one of his favorite features as he did not have any on his infant seat. Overall, this Graco Extend2fit 3-in-1 Car Seat featuring Anti-Rebound Bar exceeds all our wants for a safe car seat that allows extended rear facing though it’s many features. My sons and I look forward to getting years of use out of this seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would've loved this when my little was a newborn to get full use of the anti rebound bar and extra padding! The padding feels comfortable and perfect for newborns. We do love the extension panel for the extra legroom, however, now we are ready for forward facing. Features we love with forward facing are the cup holders of course, we can fit our rock treasures and cups! I also like the 10 position headrest so we can adjust it easily as he grows. We've had no problems with installing it or removing it and the covers are easy to remove to clean, helps a lot since our kid gets car sick often traveling. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was easy to remove from the packaging and following instructions to install were easy. I tried installing the carseat with both the LATCH, then with the seatbelt. I found installing with the seatbelt was much easier than LATCH. I know this carseat is safe and has passed all requirements but I personally like using a carseat that has lock offs when using the car seatbelt install. I like that there is an anti-rebound bar, after install it felt very secure. I also really liked the extendable leg room in rear facing as I plan to keep my child in rear facing until he maxes out height or weight. The fabric felt comfortable however I do still prefer a carseat that is free of flame retardants. The other features on it like the cup holders and harness holder are nice touches as well. Overall I would recommend this to someone if they don't mind the flame retardants.

Our son Marshall, is almost 4 years old and with the extendable panel for legroom we have no problems with keeping him rear facing!! We have older models of this same car seat and with this new model we are loving the ability to easily adjust the straps with the Velcro cover that comes up! We will always stick with the Graco Extend2Fit!!! There is not a better carseat out there for the safety of your little ones with the ability to keep your kiddos rear facing as long as possible!!!

Really love this car seat. It’s nicely made. Fabrics used are nice. Love all the safety features it has plus the rapid remove cover. However I’m giving 3 stars because it was not easy to install into my suv. I failed to make sure it had an ez latch install like my daughters slim fit platinum car seat. It took me almost 35 minutes to get a latch that was tight enough which resulted in my wrist and hands hurting by the time I was done. How I missed it didn’t have the ez latch I’m not sure. I guess I was excited about everything else. But that definitely would have kept me from purchasing this car seat as I love the easy install car seats with tight latches that don’t take forever to get. I don’t get why graco would make a wonderful car seat and skimp on that part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put my four month old in this car seat expecting her to cry because she’s not fond of car seats in general and I received big smiles from her! I’ve only used this for rear facing so far but it’s been great. Very easy to install and lightweight which is convenient because we sometimes have to move the car seat to the grandparents vehicle. The anti rebound bar helped to make the seat feel even more secure after being installed. In addition to it being a safe car seat I really like the look of it in my car! I didn’t want a gaudy, brightly colored car seat. This looks sleek and clean (for now lol) in my SUV. My little one can’t use the cup holder yet but I know those will be a hit based on my older child. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat.

The extra safety of the anti-rebound for rear facing is amazing. I have terrible anxiety and it definitely puts me at ease having just that extra bit to keep my little one safe. Then the extendable panel is so nice! I was worried since my car is smaller it wouldn't fit, but it does! My son is around 39 inches so his legs are usually bent or hanging over to get comfy. But with the extender he was chillen and loved having his legs straight and comfortable in front of him. He asks to go in my car over dad's car all the time now, that's how much he loves it! And I love that I can keep him rear facing and comfortable for longer now too. It was super easy to install safely and get to the proper settings for my son. Definitely highly recommend this carseat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many different car seats throughout my young parenting career and I have to say I was extremely impressed with this Graco Extend2Fit car seat with anti-rebound bar. The extendable panel that can easily slide out for extra leg room is perfect for my growing 3 year old to keep him more comfortable while rear-facing as long as possible. In his other car seat he will complain about his legs being squished, but while in this seat, no complaints! The no rethread harness is a great feature as well. I love that the seat can easily and quickly be adjusted as my baby grows or if I need to transport a little friend. I was also able to quickly and easily get a tight install using my vehicles seat belt. Graco provides easy install videos online to watch to help install the seat correctly which is very helpful. My only complaint is the cup holders- I wish they were a bit wider as my babies preferred water cup does not fit in the current narrow ones.
