I purchased this seat to grow with my daughter & it did. She used it from 6m to about 5 years old with no issue. As she grew the seat maintained its comfort and is truly built to last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a kiddo on the way and already have 2 young ones. They each have a Graco convertible seat, but both seats have a rear facing limit of 40 lbs. We received the Extend2Fit as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel; our oldest is 38 lbs, which means he would have outgrown his rear facing seat soon. We decided to put him in the Extend2Fit so he can rear face longer, and we will pass down the seat as each kid needs the extended rear-facing capacity. This is definitely my favorite aspect of the car seat by giving my kids more rear-facing time, as it is proven to be the safest way to sit in the car. We rear-face until kids outgrow the limits, so rear-facing up to 50 lbs is a fantastic feature! My 3-year-old is 41 inches tall and 38 lbs, making him quite tall and slim. He usually crosses his feet in his rear-facing seat and was SO excited for a leg bar and some extra leg room. He thought it was so fun and wanted to send pictures to the whole family! My only negative about this seat is that it doesn't have a backless booster option, but it will be easy enough to buy one if/when the time comes for the kids to use one, if we don't already have another seat to use.

Love that this carseat extends the time my child can be facing backwards! So important to keep him safe. My older two kids have the Graco4ever, 5 and 2 years old. The rebound bar is different on this carseat, an added safety feature! I'm so glad this carseat will literally last for years, from my newborn to my five year old all 3 kids could technically use this carseat.

Prior to receiving this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel we had our infant in a smaller car seat meant just for babies. And it was fine! But this 3-in-1 car seat is a major upgrade. It feels so solid and sturdy, so it gives me a lot of peace of mind about my kiddo's safety. And so far he seems to be fairly happy in it (his rate of fussing is about the same as always, and he's had some good naps on our longer rides). Given that our little guy is only 7 months old we haven't yet used this seat in toddler mode, but I can tell it will be great for that as well. It's so adjustable! The only downside of this seat is that I can't imagine using it in conjunction with a stroller -- which is what we were able to do with our previous car seat. So people with a newborn might prefer to get a smaller infant-only type of car seat for the early months. But at some point the baby gets too big to carry around in a car seat anyway, so a convertible seat like this is much better in the long run!
