I love my new serta cool relief pillow! Before I started this review I wanted to sleep on it a few nights. And I’m being completely honest, it’s comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I run hot, I feel with my silk pillow case, this new pillow and my fan. I wake up fresh, and no pains around my neck.

I love, love this pillow! It is incredibly lightweight but still provides excellent support. It strikes the perfect balance of being firm without feeling too hard. As a side sleeper, it can be tough to find a pillow that works, but this one is absolutely perfect for me.It keeps its shape beautifully throughout the night and actually stays cool, which has made a huge difference in my sleep quality. Another major plus is the zippered cover—it’s so easy to take off and throw in the wash to keep everything fresh. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this pillow!! I have gone through so many brands and different types of memory foam pillows. I hated all of them; except this one. Before I get into detail of why this pillow is absolutely perfect, I want to discuss memory foam. Memory foam is chemically made. Chemicals have smells, so yes, the pillow initially smells like the chemicals it was made from. The pillow comes completely wrapped in plastic which means the chemical smell is trapped inside the plastic as well. It's tightly wrapped to extend the life and quality of the product for when you receive it. Memory foam can and will eventually dry out. My husband is extremely sensitive to smells to the point we can't have candles in the house, use scented laundry detergent, or even perfume. He slept just fine next to the pillow the same night it was unwrapped and isn't able to smell it anymore. The smell quickly disappears within a couple hours of being opened. I love this pillow because it is firm, bulky, and incredibly soft at the same time. I have struggled with thick pillows because they slip out from underneath my head while I sleep. This one stays in place and my head sinks in. This is my favorite pillow now. The memory foam is incredible and very high quality. The pillow even comes with a warranty that covers permanent indentation on the pillow! I am in love with this pillow and highly recommend it.

This pillow is perfect for back and side sleepers. It’s light weight yet good quality. We have been using it for months and it is still like new as far as how it feels and how it looks. I also love that it does not have a bad scent even when brand new.

I am pretty particular about my pillows - and this one has been awesome. I was hesitant to try it because other pillows have hurt my neck or my back. This one has just the right amount of support, while still being soft and comfy. The cooling cover is soooo nice, especially because I am a hot sleeper. And the memory foam is not too encapsulating - you can still move and breathe and it doesn't suck you in too bad. I have used this pillow every night for almost a month now and I wake up feeling great!

This is the best pillow I’ve ever used and I already plan to buy another. Some memory foam is dense and smelly and has a weird texture or makes your face too hot, but not this one. It breathes. It smells fresh straight out of the package. It provides wonderful support for head and neck. It is a nice big size and is the perfect thickness. I am mostly a side sleeper but also sleep flat on my back some of the time. Fantastic for both positions, no neck or back pain when I wake up. I like it twice as much as my old pillow that was over $150. This thing is a steal!

I love my new Serta Cool Relief Gel Memory Foam King Pillow! Memory foam is known for having a very strong unpleasant scent, but this pillow did have a strong scent. I unwrapped it and let it breathe for a couple of days before I used it and the smell went away. As a woman living in California going through perimenopause, I appreciate the cooling effect it brought me. It offers great support without being too firm. At my age, it's hard to find the right pillow because some give me neck pain. I have not experienced that with this pillow. It really feels like it conforms to my head and shoulders. I'm a side sleeper and it works for me. I have gotten the best sleep on this pillow that I've had in several years.

I usually sleep with a cervical pillow because of neck pain, so this worked well for a couple of nights, but eventually, I needed to switch back. The cooling covered stayed cool throughout the night and the pillow is soft and comfortable. My husband has no neck issues and absolutely loves it.

This Serta cooling pillow is a really nice pillow, and I was pleasantly surprised with how well the cooling features actually worked. This pillow is a king sized, and very generous in length. It features a patterned design on the outer cover, which zips up to protect the actual pillow inside. I do love how the cover is removable and allows the ability to wash as needed. The inside pillow is well protected, so I think as long as youbwash your outer pillow case and the protective zipped case for the pillow, you should get a LOT of use out of this! It seems very well made, stitches are tight and solid and does not give a cheap appearance at all. I gave 4 stars only because it's a VERY firm pillow. I need a softer cushion for my neck, and this one was very unforgiving. However, if you are in need of a firm, stiffer pillow, this one is for you! Overall, I would recommend this! Serta is a quality brand and they have been around for a long time. Personally, I will look for a softer pillow, but this one has great cooling features!

Overall this is a good memory foam pillow. I had recently purchased a different memory foam pillow and was curious how this Serta pillow would compare. The other pillow was more of the "lots of memory foam pieces" type while this Serta is a solid piece. The Serta pillow had the usual memory foam smell when I first removed it from the packaging but I let it sit out for about a day and the smell is pretty much gone. My other pillow seemed thicker in comparison but when put to the test of sleeping on it the Serta pillow held up just fine and provided plenty of support and comfort, even for a side sleeper. I don't think it will replace my other pillow permanently, but it will work well in a rotation between the two.
