Have used TurboTax off and on for years. It’s become increasingly pushy and persistent in trying to get you to pay for extra services, as well as trying to get you to share your data for more products and even third party vendors. This may be my last year using it.

Horrible this year. Fees are OUTRAGEOUS, forces long form (extra $$ of course) for ONE form that makes ZERO difference, Program CONSTANTLY crashing, took hours to complete which was of course not reflected in total time. last year for me, and I've used over 30 years. Complete JUNK now.

Exploitative pricing system. Constantly trying to upsell and falsely advertising free or cheap filing but instead youre met with bogus reasons as to why you have to upgrade your filing method and charged ridiculous amounts of money. Its a money grab. The only reason I use this service is because my information is already saved here from previous years.

Turbo Tax is a fantastic product I have used for years now. It is extremely user friendly and makes taxes easy for someone who is unfamiliar with typical tax jargon. My single and only recommendation when using it, be careful about the processing fee's/ which product you choose to use/ pay for. I accidentally almost opted into an optional $35 dollar charge for a "5 day faster return" - which wasn't necessary for me- although could be beneficial for others. A year ago I almost purchased the "MAX' plan when it wasn't needed either.. just be careful before you click.

Another year filing clean and fast with Turbo Tax! I appreciate all the features, how easy it is, how I can research things and learn so I am confident, and I feel good about filing this way, feeling like I did it on my own, but knowing I have so much support!!

I would rate zero stars if I could. I am greatly disappointed in turbo tax. The reason being is because I had to pay $88 ahead of time for the deluxe package just because I am using the lifetime learning credit. I have never ever had to pay money to file my taxes before. I am extremely irate right now. Reconsider allowing people to continue using the free version even with this specific tax credit. You are screwing over broke college students that depend on getting every back on their tax refund. Also you have the nerve to charge a fee for using the money from the tax refund to cover the fee for the deluxe version? Have shame. Deceptive pricing. I will never ever use your worthless tax software every again. Good riddance.

Well I first decided to use TurboTax due to the fact that it said FREE.. However upon starting I got to the area and it was FEE.. In total I paid over $100 in FEES when it said FREE... It was however very easy to use step by step on what to do and the features was very easy to understand.. The Accuracy on how much I was getting back was seen on the top on the page as I went through each page.. I felt I was doing very well and not going through a person to see to pay for my taxes.. Turbo Tax is compatible with most things when it comes to direct deposit but only one is FREE the others you have to pay for which is very stupid in the sense that its your taxes and your bank account but they want you to pay for the deposit into your bank.. WHAT THE FRICK IS THAT ABOUT?????

I have used TT Desktop for years but had to move to the on line version due to system constraints on my iMac. Was not able to import my prior return info so I had to manually enter all the data. After that, it was pretty seemless other than having to secure a Pin from the IRS.

Just easy. Super easy. Alarmingly easy. It's so easy you're gonna think it's a crime. You're gonna be like, "wow this is really easy... Am I breaking the law? Is it illegal for it to be this easy? Should I be worried about the FBI from here out?" But nah fam. That's just Turbo Tax having your back.
