Every year it gets more slippery and sneaky with the random little fees for this or that convenience they try to get you for. It's annoying, but otherwise it was done quickly enough. But then again my return wouldn't be complicated no matter where it was done at.

I've been using turbo tax for around 10 years. I love it. It makes filing my taxes easy. It guides me through every step, doubles checks everything, helps met get the most back with my refund, and it doesn't take forever. It takes me around 45 mins to an hour. If I have questions or am confused about something, theres either a highlighted blue sentence or question to click on that explains it, or you can ask the help guidance chat person in the bottom left of the screen. Its about $100 to file state and federal combined, it gives you the option to get it direct deposited, and to pay with your refund if you dont have the money to pay for it right then. You can track your refund to see what the status is, and it keeps your info for the next year so you dont have to re-type in all your info. Turbo Tax has been reliable and accurate every time. Highly recommend 👌

I wasn't able to deduct the full overtime amount, even though it was over the 12,500 limit, because my overtime exceeded the 1/3 limit of my gross, so I had to undercut it, and my refund dropped over $100. It was also stated that others who had overtime time as half of their gross were still able to file. It is frustrating and annoying but Cydne was awesome in her support and I cannot thank her enough. Still will probably explore other options next year when I file.

I had a very simple tax return, and thought I was filing "Turbo Tax Free" (though I knew I'd have to pay to file my state return). As it turns out, I didn't know until the very end of the process that I would be paying fees for both. With that said, the process was straightforward and uncomplicated, so paying a modest fee is acceptable, eve though I feel I should have been informed earlier in the process.

While it is a decent tax filing software, the sheer numb of screens and boxes that present marketing, advertising and other useless products to you is annoying since it is not a free product. Then their wording can led you to inadvertently authorize them t hare your information. Not an honest product.

I love the guidance turbo tax provided. It made the process so much easier. The extra features that help you understand the steps is always my favorite. Filing taxes on your own is always hard, so the accuracy and compatibility of filing with turbo tax’s keeps me coming back every year. Not to mention the interface, it makes it easy to store my information for years to come. Finished my taxes in less than 30 minutes

Im being gracious - I have been using TurboTax since day one and was always able to complete the process within a couple sessions. I was very frustrating with the new format. I have a very similar financial situation as the last several years. The XXXXX 1099-R form hasn't changed for the past 17+ years and I was questioned about it several times after I said it was correct. We have paid taxes on the taxable amount without question for that timeframe. I spent most of the day getting an ID.E number in order to summit on-line. I’ve used TurboTax my entire adult life and generally have a great experience. This year, however, after submitting my federal return, I wasn’t prompted to file my state taxes and assumed both were completed. I also didn’t receive any follow-up emails or reminders about the missing state return, which is surprising given how proactive TurboTax usually is with notifications. Not a deal-breaker, but this workflow gap could easily lead to missed filings and should be addressed.

Exploitative pricing system. Constantly trying to upsell and falsely advertising free or cheap filing but instead youre met with bogus reasons as to why you have to upgrade your filing method and charged ridiculous amounts of money. Its a money grab. The only reason I use this service is because my information is already saved here from previous years.

Didn't realize it ran my card before I even filed my taxes. I was just doing an estimate. Was going to have my sister do my taxes as her first year as a tax professional. I guess that won't happen. Last year ever using TurboTax, all they care about is making money. Too many advertisements about paying more money for their additional services
