Doing taxes is not a favorite thing for me. There is a lot going on inside the program that I don't understand, and that is fine with me as long as I find and enter the correct thing, all is well! If I mess up though, and I try to fix the situation, sometimes I just make it worse. If I end up in a loop I get frustrated, Fortunately the representative that helped me was extremely patient. I was told the purpose of that section and it finally dawned on me what happened. I took a breath, fixed the error, and was able to move on.

I tried multiple times to pay using direct payment from my checking account, payment plan with IRS or send a check and it would not go through. It forced me to use a credit card number and pay the fee. NOT happy about the $45 fee for using a debit card.

I found this tax software incredibly easy to use from start to finish. The interface is very intuitive, which helped me navigate through the different sections without any confusion. It simplified what is usually a stressful task by providing clear instructions and helpful prompts. I really appreciated how straightforward the entire filing process felt this year.

I DO NOT BELIEVE I GET FULL TAX BENIFITS USING TURBO TAX - ONLY USE BECAUSE I REFUSE TO PAY SOMEONE TO DO MY TAXES - ALSO USED TO FILL OUT DAUGHTERS TAXES . SHE IS FULL TIME STUDENT AND DID SOME SIDE WORK - I HAD TO PAY TO E FILE THE 1040 TYPE FORM - NEVER AGAIN FOR HER - I WILL DO MY TAXES AND TAKE MY LUPS

Turbotax was very good! But I really wish there was more immediately accessible information, along with why things were the way they were. I am still unsure even what itemized deductions are, and the AI wasn't terribly helpful at this. I would rely less on AI and more on human information.

TurboTax is such a scam. They say that it is free and the most simple of tax forms cost $143 to file! This is absolutely ridiculous. There is also no option where it can be free even when you are entering your own information. It is very confusing and you are almost forced to pay an unfair amount. When your income is only $10,000, this is sickening. Will not be recommending and will not be using again.

Paid way more than if I had someone prepare them for me. I could have paid a professional way less and had no stress and I would have not had to stay up half the night. Never using them again. Next year I'll pay $100 for someone else to do it in a fraction of the time.

Still a bit confusing as to what stuff is. For someone that moved from Texas to California, the "domicile" part lacked guidance. Also, I saw nothing to file for Texas, even though i resided there for most of 2025... So I hope I don't get in trouble for that. Because it didn't pop up here at all.

I have been doing turbo tax for many years and this is the first time I was very disappointed If you are going to charge people then be upfront at the time they are filling the app out not at the end when you either have to be forced to finish or stop and do them a different way very sneaky on your part I would say almost illegal tactic

The turbo tax program works great for all the aspects that you would need to file your taxes! it will never get a 5 star rating from me because the company still lobbies to ensure the government makes me have to use this program to do my taxes every year instead of making it automatic. still an hour of my life I will never get back because TurboTax wants to extort money from us.
