My husband and just I had the most terrible experience with TurboTax. We spent nearly 4 hours today trying to get everything right, and while mine worked out ok, his return has some sort of computer glitch that we are unable to fix, and even though he has everything filled out correctly, the turbotax system still registers an error and this is preventing him from being able to e-file. Also, the tax calculator on their website is wildly inaccurate, just for the record.

Super easy to use and convenient. I would have given 5 stars, but the prompts to upgrade throughout, and the adds for extra services to get your money faster for additional fee's are annoying. I am unsure what I even signed up for at the end (credit Karma?), and I am pretty sure I will never use that service whatever it was?

overall good guidance but I felt it was very sneaky and dishonest to charge $128 for the "free" service. we had a simple W2 and we didn't expect any fees and nothing was mentioned about a cost until the very end and seemed like their was no option but to pay. I'd rather pay a real person next time. I did all the work.

I have been using TurboTax just about the entire time I have worked in my life. It is straightforward, incredibly easy, and the couple of times that I went elsewhere, I paid more for the service AND had issues with the filing or the return. I decided after that that I will just stick with what has worked for me for the past few decades at this point. Yes, I highly recommend!

I am writing to formally complain about an issue I experienced while using TurboTax related to Form 1098-A (Health Insurance Marketplace Statement). I needed to delete Form 1098-A due to an error, but the system would not allow me to remove it. When I contacted support, I was told that the only solution was to create an entirely new profile and start my tax return over from the beginning. This was extremely frustrating and time-consuming. I spent a significant amount of time going through various steps and troubleshooting on my own in an effort to avoid starting over. Simply searching for alternative ways to delete the form eventually led me to the correct solution—something that was not clearly explained or guided by TurboTax support. Because of this issue, I was unable to file my return electronically until the form was deleted, despite the error not being my fault. This created unnecessary delays and stress during an already important process. I believe this reflects a lack of clear guidance and system flexibility, and I hope TurboTax will address this issue so other users do not encounter the same problem. Customers should not be forced to restart their entire tax return due to a single form error. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had spent almost NINE hours trying to get another online tax service to give me he correct page to report a credit. I was almost in tears, as they have done my taxes for years with no problems. When emails and Tax Support and even an in-person phone call couldn't resolve the problem, I thought of TurboTax. EASY PEASY. you just guided me true the forms and helped in every way possible. I will become a TurboTax user from now on.

Been usingTurbo Tax for over 10 years and I never get any kind of loyalty rewards or discounts and this year they advertise it's free but I still have to pay a fee. This will probably be my last year using them b/c there are so many FREE tax services out there now and obviously being a long time user doesn't mean anything anymore in this day and time. I'm Done

I was pleased with everything up until the refund deposit options window.. 35 dollars to do a direct deposit to my personal account is absurd and not disclosing that earlier is not ethical; I will be using a different program in the future that allows direct deposit to my bank account without being charged or having to create a separate credit karma account.

Too many little fees makes it not worth it anymore. There are equally good services out there with less fees. Its a fee to file everything, a fee to get your refund deposited, a fee to use your refund, it seems predatory. Good tax preparing software but be prepared to overpay for it.
