Everything about this product is great. It is the quickest tax tool I have ever used. The only things I don't like that ae changed over the years is the requirements for filing for free and the fact that the refund advance in't available in all 50 states.

Easy to use and helpful but made on minor error... Originally it said it was best to keep standard deduction and skip itemizing deductions but luckily I went back and filled in the mortgage interest and property tax (substantial as a California resident) which took my IRS amount owed from $8000 down to $3300 and switched owing money to CA to a small refund.

Littered with fees and annoying pop-ups for features not many people want. The most ridiculous fee is the fee to deduct the fees to file from your refund; you’re making us pay a fee to choose how to pay fees. TurboTax is utterly ridiculous and greedy.

Wouldn't let me file electronically initially because I input exactly as presented on the 1099-R, i.e. zero in box 16. Apparently, you have to input the same number in box 16 as in box 1 even though that is not what the 1099-R shows. Was able to e-file after I did this.

TurboTax made it easy to file our taxes. We used to have complicated returns and would pay hundreds of dollars for an accountant. Now that life has been simplified, we are able to use the TurboTax service. They ask questions to help us know what we need and what we don't need.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and it has never let me down. It is easy to navigate and has helpful understandable guidance. The click and go features make navigation simple. The return is checked and double checked for accuracy prior to filing, which reduces any chance of issues with the IRS. I especially like the compatibility with W2 and other income and expense reports. The convenience of the ability to access my account from any device is huge bonus. I will continue to use Turbo Tax and highly recommend it to everyone.

They say I can file the taxes with the $40 taken out of my return but always seems to be the maximum money paid like $89. I don’t mind paying, but if they would just be straightforward and not deceive you which I feel deceive they’ll be here because it’s supposed to be free..

It makes certain things easy, and it's good that they brought back the real time refund tracker, but the interface can be buggy at times, and it's awful how Intuit tries to trick you into giving your sensitive tax data to them for their own purposes, with an official looking decision screen that makes it seem like a required step. Also, they got rid of ItsDeductible this year. Honestly, it was like the only thing keeping me attached to Turbotax, since it let you automatically load your donations in. Now it's all manual. I'm going to be looking for a different tax service next year.

I don't understand anyone who doesn't use TurboTax to file. It is the easiest and most efficient way to get it done - and fast! Saving information from the previous year also eases things. You can trust the system when uploading your documents to accurately obtain the information within so that you don't have to type it all out. Lastly, I love how they almost gamify the process to keep you on track. It makes the process far less intimidating!

I hate you, I always hate you. This product is a scam, basically an automated FreeFillableForms. You now take money for direct deposit? Absolutely ludicrous. Going to spend the next year getting to know how to submit returns for free to get out from under your abhorrently greedy thumb.
