I love the guidance turbo tax provided. It made the process so much easier. The extra features that help you understand the steps is always my favorite. Filing taxes on your own is always hard, so the accuracy and compatibility of filing with turbo tax’s keeps me coming back every year. Not to mention the interface, it makes it easy to store my information for years to come. Finished my taxes in less than 30 minutes

Not the same formats as the regular Turbo Tax forms I've used for the past 10 or so years. They should look like the previous ones. I was frustrated and confused because of this as Federal or State Teacher formats are NOT just W2 forms. The numbering was of, i.e. Box 2, or Box 4. Once I figured out how to get this done, it took about an hour to get the form filled. You need to have a side for "Explanations" for the inputs. Other than that it was OK to use this year.

This is still an easy way to get things done quickly, but it's becoming a struggle to avoid traps for using personal information or paying for upgrades that are, for me certainly, unnecessary. This isn't new, but it's more nefarious the way upgrade options and data permissions are presented multiple times and sometimes without the option to skip them. I had to get creative with the site just to avoid signing away what little remains of my privacy. The fees for early payment and processing are also reaching a point where I can't help but ask myself if I would rather keep the $90 and go back to doing things myself next year. If the dubious traps get any worse, that's exactly what I'll do...and I won't return once that point is reached. Someone thinks they are being clever to pad margins via UI traps. I think they might be working towards obsolescence.

This product sucks. I only gave it 1 star because there weren't any options for 0 stars. It's taken me 5 hours to file something that normally takes 30 minutes. The download/physical version was more user-friendly and made more sense. Not sure I will buy TurboTax again.

After selecting the “File Free” button and then filing and getting through the back and forth process I’m hit with these fees that pretty much take half my refund back. So much for free. I already barely got anything back and yall take half of that. Nice. Every year is the same and there’s no way around it.

I had problems with several of the features. The main problem being the uploading of W-2s when I would try to take a picture it would kick me out and I would have to log back in. When I attempted to upload the w2 it said it was not supported even though the file type was listed as a supported type. File taxes is already a pain and while the hiccups weren't major it was just enough to make the process super frustrating.

I think that this years program leaves a lot to be desired, compared to 2024. Here is why. I am doing this return to help a lady friend. We could not get the Mortgage Interest to be accepted, even though the amount would not have made any difference. The program would not bring last years information forward. The program would not progress past the page that said, "Just Three More Steps and .........", on 1/27/2026. However something happened the next day and that problem resolved itself.

Been using this TurboTax for years this year, I had to file a separate form and they automatically change me from free filing to making me pay without notifying me within the services that this was happening not very happy with TurboTax won’t be using them next year if I have to have special forms, I will file directly with the IRS where it is free. It won’t cost me one penny.

cant get past paying almost 200 even though i chose dont add max all the way nthrough the paperwork at the end it auto sets up 70 then 48 then 35 have to select pay just to finish.i didnt select the 79 dollar but it added.had to agree to pay to move on
