I've used turbo tax for a couple years now and my parents have used turbo tax for years. It has never let us down it's easy to use and I like the access to help even though I've never had to use it. I'm not crazy about the fees but they aren't outrageous so 4 out of 5 star.

Super easy to use and convenient. I would have given 5 stars, but the prompts to upgrade throughout, and the adds for extra services to get your money faster for additional fee's are annoying. I am unsure what I even signed up for at the end (credit Karma?), and I am pretty sure I will never use that service whatever it was?

It was very easy to navigate. The website offers plenty of help not get you through the entire process and they review your info multiple times to make sure you are completing and filing your important tax return correctly! Not to mention how smooth and quick turbo tax has made it to file.

That said, the upsell prompts can feel a bit persistent, especially if you’re trying to stick with the free version. Some features that seem included at first end up requiring a paid upgrade, which can be frustrating. Overall, TurboTax Online is a reliable and user‑friendly option for filing taxes, especially if you want guided support without having to visit a tax preparer. It’s not the cheapest option, but it does make the process feel manageable from start to finish.

TurboTax was AWFUL this year, as a customer of 5+ years... Glitchy, broken tools, "fixed tools" on 1/23 yet still didn't let me file, recycling you through the review process 10 times and finding new issues each time, and even as I attempt to type this review, the site is glitching and completely deleting letters i am typing. I will not be using turbo tax next year.

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. Each year, Turbo Tax is getting easier and easier to follow and understand. The features were a little user friendly. It seems to be very accurate for most of the topics listed. There were only a few topics that was somewhat complicated, but I managed to work through them,

I have been filing with TurboTax for more than 10 years now. Most years my returns are pretty standard, but sometimes I have an unusual income/expense and TurboTax guides me through it without any problems. I have never had any issues with the IRS on my returns due to the accuracy and always receive my refund in a timely manner. It is also nice that the site works well on any operating system and keeps you apprised of your potential return/payment.

After being gouged by a professional service that charged over $500 for the service -- gracious sakes, I'm a retired teacher with no such discretionary funds! -- I sought alternatives. TurboTax is so very easy to use and incredibly accurate! The additional services offered, if I required them, are reassuring. The care and guidance on-screen is just like a face-to-face with a person, checking, verifying, re-checking, finalizing. Instead of being a grind, I actually enjoy working with TurboTax! Mark me a very satisfied client. We'll be seeing you again next year!

Fees are way too expensive and I also should not be having to prove who I am forty million times during the process of trying to submit return. Very poor process and experience, most likely will not be returning because of my. experience and added fees. Ridiculous.

Over the years I have really tried to like TurboTax. I have used TurboTax for almost 20 years and I've overlooked the theatrical gimmicks and praises, the constant repeated offers for adding more products and features that aren't needed, and I've even tried overlooking the fees you charge to file state and federal, but I can't anymore. Now you want to charge ANOTHER $40 just to have it deducted from your refund? That is just absolutely ludicrous, and this is the last time I will ever use TurboTax. I'll start doing my taxes myself
