I've been using Turbo Tax for years. I've never had to pay to pay with my return before. I'm already paying them for the use of their software to file taxes we HAVE to legally do. Only to get to the end and find out to use my refund money I have to pay THEM $40 dollars to USE my money. I'm sure there will be people that say well don't use it... I went to other tax services and they are all doing it now! Ridiculous! The program it self is easy to use as always which is why I gave it a 3 star.

I gave on star because I was forced to pay for my taxes when I've always done them for free. I do not have any marketplace insurance or anything like that, just needed a regular 1040 form. Also, when I got to the end to file my taxes there were hidden fees. I was charged 40 bucks to be forced to use deluxe when I didn't need deluxe and charged a fee of 48 bucks from green dot, taking my refund down. I'm very disappointed with Turbotax and this will be my last year filing taxes with Turbotax.

More difficult than it was in previous years. Also, for some reason I felt like I e-filed the returns more than once as the prompt kept taking me back to the beginning and seeing the same information more than once. Also a little pricey for the simple taxes I have. But ok!

I think TurboTax needs to rethink the way their funding is done. I should be allowed to choose the self filing tax choice and not have to pay extra, especially when I am not getting very much back to begin with. Other than that I like using TurboTax.

Beware of TurboTax trying to pull a fast one on you into paying for the Premier package. It locked me into Premier at the beginning without asking. If you don't make sure you are using the deluxe package from the start, you have to call customer service if you want to downgrade it (it charges you more than double to use Premier versus the Deluxe), or you must delete everything and start all over, which is what I had to do. They make things easy, but WOW do they try to nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING, and those extra fees are the default for each step. I am definitely reconsidering using some other service next year because they seem to constantly have issues with misrepresenting things to customers. BEWARE.

Turbotax does a great job in making file taxes easy. There is a step by step process in maximizing a refund which is always appreciated. Have questions? The ease of filing was great. The amount of work that was required was little. The disappointing part was the hidden fee of having the refund going into the personal bank account - instead of using Credit Karma bank account. There should not be a fee for having a Bank Account.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and am very happy with how comprehensive and easy the program has been for us. I can have W-2's imported; they review every type of deduction available; the system calculates everything and asks us to check and recheck to make sure we have entered correct information and are satisfied with the calculations.

TurboTax made filing my taxes surprisingly simple this year. The step‑by‑step questions were easy to follow, and it caught a few deductions I wouldn’t have known about on my own. I liked that it double‑checked everything before submitting and gave me confidence that my return was accurate. Overall, it saved me time, stress, and a lot of guesswork.

I used to do my taxes with TurboTax and get back a lot more when I made under $10 an hour. Now at $20 an hour I'm getting about half of what I used to and got way over charged because I was tricked into paying for deluxe service that was unnecessary because I just had one W2. So, not only was I given way less, I had to pay too much. So, this will be the last time I use this service and I will never recommend this to anyone unless I hate them.
