TurboTax always makes filing easy but the additional fees tacked on at the end seem to get a little sneakier each year. I understand this is a business and a needed service but its just disappointing that the payment option defaults to pay with your return for an additional $40 and that depositing into your current bank costs another $35 on top of that which is stated after you agree to the price on the previous page.

The website itself was fine, very direct, but a lot of the terms were very confusing to understand and I didn't like how some of the things were diffrent. I've filed my taxes with TurboTax since I was sixteen, and some of the things I saw today I had never seen before, at least not that I remember. Honestly, it was just very confusing, like it was trying to get me to update and have an anget help.

sucks!! scams you into paying at the very end, charges extra to even deposit it into my account, doesn't utilize your saved information and makes you manually input it all over again, arbitrary fees, tries to slip sneaky things in like saving your payment information even if you selected "no", not user-friendly at all anymore. I've used this service a lot over the years, and it keeps getting worse. I won't be using it again.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO SAY FREE THAN ACTUALLY MAKE IT FREE! I start out the process with everything saying yes federal and state filing is free, then I have to say no I don't want to upgrade 20 times. Then GODFORBID you add a tax credit and then BOOM "we can't file this unless you pay us" so you are FORCED to upgrade. THEN you get to the end and oh by the way your state return cost $40. Dishonest and inaccurate information from the absolute start. Almost $130 for a "free" filing. THEN if I want to pay with my refund its $40 ON TOP OF THAT. What a joke. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I should sue you for this nonsense AGAIN because I know it's already happened once. You're trash that lies your customers.

Garbage interface for a garbage company that lobbies to keep tax laws complicated and predatory. Everyone in charge in unfit to lead a business in the modern world. Lacks PFL category and just offers limited guidance and compatibility without reaching for your wallet each and every time. It told me I needed and upgrade just to submit the taxes at all, they're complete predators.

5 star rating for their 5 star service! The platform is easy to use and easy to read, especially for someone who doesn't file for themselves often. I spoke to Joycelyn and Imrys who were extremely knowledgeable and quickly assisted me with my issue. The turnaround time of the call was also quick and I left the call with a resolution and satisfaction. Imrys also made a few suggestions to help me in the future. On the phone and off I was happy with the experience, I would definitely recommend Turbo Tax

I do not like that there is no running total to review, and I assume the ability to "go to the form" would jeopardize payments to Intuit. I miss this feature. I also do not like how difficult it is to remove the $69 Max amount. It was misleading to be a total amount as opposed to an additional amount. Thank goodness AI helped! Be careful intuit, we may be able to give AI our information and let it complete our tax return!

turbo tax put me into a loop with the pay by return. Would not accept payment from them themself. had to pay out of pocket spent a hour on the phone with a wonderful lady Jasmin the attempted to help to no avail. 5 stars for support 0 stars for the software.

I had so much trouble with my 1098-T form it wasn’t going through an I ended up having to call customer support and this wonderful lady helped me we were on the phone for about an hour but she was very patient and polite with me the entire time and was eventually able to solve my issue. Her name was Irma she was very helpful thank you

I wish I could give 0 stars. This is the slowest website I have ever used in my life. What should have taken me about an hour instead took me THREE HOURS. I kept having to refresh the page, log out and log back in, etc. The pages constantly just kept loading and loading and loading and never actually loading. Absolutely terrible experience and I will not use this platform again.
