Using TurboTax this year was straightforward and surprisingly smooth. When I needed my AGI, the guidance walked me step‑by‑step to the IRS transcript page, making the process easy to follow. Once I pulled my 2024 Return Transcript, TurboTax matched everything quickly and let me finish filing without stress. The layout is clean, the instructions are clear, and the whole experience felt efficient and user‑friendly.

We made less than $75,000 married filing jointly, yet your software forced me to pay for an upgrade due to medicaid form 8959. This form is needed if you make over $250,000, i double checked box 5 on all incomes yet it would not let me continue without upgrading and paying $88. This seems like a new bait and switch tactic like turbotax used several years ago while deciving people to upgrade when they didnt need to.

Gives best return out of all the "free" software out there, their use of free is just a marketing tool. Be prepared to pay just to file be it them forcing you to upgrade to deluxe or an extra $50 charge to pay with your tax return money, on top of the extra charge for them finding you a tax break. you shouldn't have to pay for deluxe because you qualify for a 401k or Roth IRA credit. easy to use but they hide all of the fees until the end. DO NOT BELIEVE THE WORDS FREE

Ive never been able to do this alone and today I did it! It was easy, my information was pretty straight forward and in the past i have paid hundreds to get them done. I was happy to pay the little fees to make sure all was good. I appreciate the efficiency!

I have used Turbo Tax to file my Federal Income Tax for more than 20 years. I find the program to be easy to follow and enter required information. The program is accurate and compatible with my income situation. There are many features that I have not used to date, but as my income changes in the future may be needed.

I liked the additional feature where you review what you are paying for and the opportunity to revise. Overall, the product is extremely easy to use and guides you through each step, and gives you the chance to review topics that you are not sure about. It consistently gives you the opportunity to review your input for accuracy.

I would have given Turbo Tax 5 stars but you have now added on the $35 fee for direct deposit into your bank account unless you use Credit Karma. You used to direct deposit for free. This is totally bogus!!!! I wish you offered a way to receive a check in the mail because at that point I would have chosen that instead. You need to tell people the charges upfront. I had already chosen what Turbo Tax plan I wanted and I paid for it. You should not be springing another hidden fee on people. I do not appreciate that and I don't want to deal with another company, like Credit Karma, getting my refund. Totally tacky move Turbo Tax! I have been using your program for YEARS! This is disappointing!

I have been using Turbotax for over 10 years. It has always been a bargain when using my desktop computer and inserting the turbotax cd to complete my taxes. This year, turbotax no longer offers a cd for my windows 10 desktop computer. I am NOT prepared to buy a new computer now just to do my taxes. So I did the online version which ended up costing me $96. I could have had a licensed preparer do my taxes for close to that amount. Also, didn't see the fee until the very end, much higher than the $40 fee shown at the beginning of the process. I will rethink my tax preparer next year for sure!

When turbo tax added those extra 44 dollars at the end so they charge it from your check this sucks because the price you charge will still be same for someone who get 1000 dollars those we might only spec 500 dollars almost a quart is gone , I don't IL be taxing with turbo tax next year

I really appreciate how every step can be explained if I need help understanding something, but if I don't need the extra help it doesn't slow me down with unnecessary steps to click through. I also really like that since I used Turbo Tax in the past, all my information was automatically uploaded.
