This year, it was extremely difficult to return to sections to make revisions. The pages would not load properly and/or populate in order. For example, I couldn’t correct whether I had lived in the U.S. for at least six months; once I selected or deselected an option, I couldn’t go back to change it. As a result, I had to restart the entire application.

Took forever to get almost half my refund back, over half went to your frees on a supposedly "free" product. And you slipped in another $44 for some premium service. I will NOT use your services in the future! I did most of the work, declined every upsell... I am advising my friends not to use this scam. If you advertise its free, it NEEDS to be free.

It was actually pretty good, but inexplicably you changed it from FREE to FEE for federal. I am filing a AGI just over $3000 for part time work. No investment income. No interest income. No warning that I had entered into a FEE product. Disappointing.

Unnecessary “upsell” nonsense. Seems more shady than previous years. Just be upfront and EXACT with the pricing options and be done. You’ve made things much much more complicated than need be. What should have taken me 15 minutes took an hour and a half because I had to clear everything and start over to get out of your expert pricing category where you tried to charge me $129 for 15 minutes of me entering information. And the chat help I used only complicated things more. Long time customer with a bad experience today

I paid 143 dollars for you to allow me to tell you what I made and tell the gov what I made even though everyone already knows. This has got to be the most insane timeline I've considered. WILD. It was not all the more convenient and I could have done it cheaper with a CPA. I picked the option that was "free". And it's not. So that's cool.

I have been using TurboTax since the early 90s. This version didn't have a place to save your work. I got kicked off several times and had to reenter some of the info - apparently is does automatic saves. This was unwieldly and difficult to navigate. I think next year I'll try something.

I have very simple taxes: one W-2, one 1099-NEC, and one 1099-INT. Turbo Tax required me to sign up for a "delux" package in order to file my very basic taxes. What is the point of a "free" product that does not serve a basic service. I didn't need any of the additional support that it said was required to file my 1099-NEC and they still made me upgrade to a $79 "deluxe" package. I have filed my taxes online with Turbo Tax for years, but I will not be doing so next year.

Easy enough to use, as long as you have basic tax returns. However, it is obvious this is a money grab. There should be truly free tax preparation options. There used to be a truly free version of this and it is not acceptable that there is not. State taxes are necessary, not an addition. They should not cost extra. There are no good options anymore for free tax preparation in this country.

Thank You for having a service that help people to get through their taxes yearly. This is such a stressful time of year. And having a program online to help you step by step and at your own pace is great. I would highly recommend this service for filing your taxes.

Turbo Tax is very helpful. However, they need to be much clearer and more honest about the pricing and the pricing options. As you go through the filing process, at times it seems as if you have no choice with the pricing, but you do. They try to steer you into the highest price possible. So, you have to skip to the next page, and this feature might not be intuitive for some users. Nevertheless, the hassle is worth it. This is a great product, and I will continue to use it.
