Pretty quick and painless to do yourself. However, this was the first time I had to file another state's tax return. The main thing was making the payment, since I owe, was needlessly confusing to the point I paid by the wrong method. I have always paid by using my bank account. They were pushing the file now, pay later which I didn't want. I had to back out of that and thought I was selecting credit for the other state income since it was so little. I ended up entering my bank info for the state return instead. So I ended up paying the state with my bank and credit card with my federal (which was much larger) instead of the other way around. I clicked submit and got an immediate notification on my phone of the payment for federal and got a service fee of of $53.16 for paying by credit card. Don't push the file, now pay later. Little miffed about that service fee. It also keeps asking to tack on additional services multiple times. If I didn't want it the first time, I'm not going to suddenly want it the next 3 times.

Did not like the process, too many verification requirements, too mant steps, and very confusing. Very disapointed in the fact that i first had to purchase the sofeware, then have to pay a fee to file my taxes. Way to go with the fee grab! Really not sure if I will be using Turbo tax next year.

Turbo Tax advertises free tax filing for individuals under a certain income. The free filing was marked all throughout the filing of the return but when it came to actually submitting the returns, there was a $183 filing fee for federal, state, and processing. There is no disclosure on the advertisement of these fees. The ad says "FREE" which it is not!!

The only thing I'm upset about is that Turbo Tax went ahead and did my state tax return. You think you're doing the customer a favor but it's not a favor when you charge them for the "favor". I have already requested my money back ($50.04) for the state return and have filed them on my own. Don't mess with someone else's' money!!

The turbo tax program works great for all the aspects that you would need to file your taxes! it will never get a 5 star rating from me because the company still lobbies to ensure the government makes me have to use this program to do my taxes every year instead of making it automatic. still an hour of my life I will never get back because TurboTax wants to extort money from us.

At the end, TurboTax would not allow me to edit a field on the S.D. 100 form and I was stuck for several hours trying to edit and clear a field that was populated. I edited the form and did many things that wouldn't work. In the end I had to both delete the S.D 100 form and the withholding from the tax tools -form - delete and re-enter all the information. This was very painful and my worst Turbotax experience to date. I have used Turbo for many, many years now and this may be my last. I feel I should be owed a refund for this glitch.

HORRIBLE experience takes forever to file, return gets rejected after i pay EXTRA for who knows why wont let me take it out of the return, i tried to fix the return issues kept bringing me to the same page saying i have to fix something nothing i can do on the form other than look at it (i clicked on every box to see if i can change anything and NOTHING can be changed) gave up on doing that went to file by mail basically forcing you to efile, extra confusing to download the files absolute horrible experience do better.

I have used TurboTax for many years, at least 15 if not 20. This is the first time I have filed using the online application. I really liked it. The reason I had to use the online app was that my computer still runs Windows 10, and TurboTax won't let you use their product unless you have Windows 11. While that certainly was a pain, the online application was very easy to use. One thing I do like is that my deductions are not enough to bypass the standard deduction. The online product will let you skip entering all the info and just use the standard deduction. Thank you, TurboTax, you have a great product.

They rejected my tax return both federal and state by the reason of my SSN and my spouse SSN were recorded same numbers. But, they were wrong. I had CORRECTLY put my SSN and my spouse SSN. So, there was not a change to re-file them. I didn't do any incorrect, but they did something wrong
