[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple years of using a small, battery powered chainsaw for small trees and shrubs around the house, I was ready for something with a little more power. This 16” version is a great combination of lightweight convenience with enough power to handle bigger branches and tree trunks. It’s 4-stroke so no need to mix gas and oil. It starts up easily and outlasts any battery powered saw.

Easy to get set-up with the provided instructions and no real tuning needed. Fires up with ease and for a 16 inch saw it does quite the job for smaller projects around the yard.

The unit works as expected, though I must admit, I didn’t know that 4 cycle chainsaws were a thing, and makes the overall operation much more straightforward. Being able use unmixed gasoline is a wonderful thing for ease of use and extended run time. I appreciate the inclusion of engine oil, however I do have concerns about long term service related to the oil system, and how often it will need changed.

Really loving this chainsaw. First one I've owned so I have nothing to compare it to. My only issue is figuring out which 16" chain I need to replace it with. The instruction manual does not say. There are quite a few 16" options as far as teeth and cut and I don't want to get the wrong one. So far I have had this for one cutting season and it has been great.

I love the fact that I don't have to mix any chemicals or fluids. Saving money by only having to buy gasoline, no need for oil. I dont know what maintenance is like yet, but, I suspect i wont have to worry about the carb getting gunked up from oil residue over time.
