The sock was a little difficult to get set up just cause I had some technical issues but after getting it set up, it was really cool to see in real time the BPM and oxygen levels as well as track his sleep. This is really good product for a piece of mind, however I wouldn’t rely on it.

I love that I can access it right from my phone—the video quality is sharp, the zoom feature makes it easy to check on my baby, and the sound, though delayed by about two seconds, is still clear and reliable. One of my favorite additions is the new health insights, which give us valuable information we didn’t have before. That said, I have experienced a few hiccups. On occasion, the video feed has cut out, causing the monitor to disconnect from my phone. I’ve also noticed that during nighttime feedings, if the sock shifts even slightly, it can set off the base alarm—sometimes startling my husband or even waking our toddler when he sneaks into our bed. (It gave him quite the scare one night!) Overall, I still think the Owlet Dream is a fantastic tool for parents and worth having. Just be prepared for a few minor quirks along the way.

I was pleasantly suprised to see everything was well thought out and all the necessary items for mounting the camera and hiding/protecting baby from cords were included. I also love that you get different size socks and both l/r to help protect babies skin and keep the device usable longer. There are also plenty of video and picture instructions on the app to help with installation, mounting, use and care. Camera: We have 3 kids (ages 5, 2 and 2 months). We didnt mount the camera due to wanting to be able to move it between rooms. We have mostly been using it for our oldest two since our youngest still sleeps in our room. The camera picks up on noise and crys really well but you can tell it was designed to be pointing in a crib for a baby who isn't going to go anywhere because even with motion set on high it often doesnt pick up on motion unless its happening for awhile. My oldest sleep walks and she can get clear across the room and out the door without setting it off. The clarity on the camera itself is excellent, even in the dark. And it can see a wide range (our old camera has a very small field of vision and was a real challenge to line up. We could only point it to see one child but with this camera we can see the whole room). Its easy to zoom in and out which is nice. I like that you can opt to have clips taken so I can check back on footage (which has been helpful to see whats going on with my older 2 when they're battling bed time). I appreciate you don't have to have a subscription and can see check back on the clips for a reasonable time. I don't love that its through wifi, that always makes me nervous. Also if your wifi isnt reliable then you could have interuptions to your feed/alerts. Another thing I dont like is that there isn't a way (other than unplugging) to turn the camera off between use. (Or atleast not a way I could find) I dont want to leave the camera on 24/7 and unplugging it all the time is annoying. The plugs/bricks are fairly slim which I appreciate but I would love to see them even more compact to be able to easily fit behind furniture or be more discrete. Sock: as mentioned I appreicate the different sizes and having a right and left. I switch mine every few days just to be extra safe and try to wipe them down once a week or so. I haven't noticed any irritation at all. To my suprise, my baby doesnt seem to mind the sock at all and it stays on well (even when she wakes up and kicks). Its easy enough to pop on the charger (My 5 year old loves to help with this) ad easy to switch between socks. Thankfully i have not had any concerning alerts only occasional difficulty reading and one baby may need help to settle. I appreciate the extra peace of mind it gives me knowing id be alerted or woken up if something was wrong. This has made taking showers and sleeping a lot easier and more relaxing. Overall I would recommend simply for the peace of mind and ease of use.

The camera has amazing night vision, it isn’t pixelated at all and reaches every room in our 1900 sq ft house. I love that I can track my baby’s oxygen and pulse ox for the entire night with the graph! I cannot recommend this enough, especially for a newborn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sock has helped so much especially because my baby has a heart condition and knowing her oxygen levels are good at night helps me sleep easier. It was a bit of an annoyance to try and set up with my wifi. It would not connect even with following the instructions and going to the website. I didnt do anything different and it finally connected after tons of trying. Connecting was the more annoying part but the camera is super clear and even picks up the ceiling fan noise unfortunately. I move the camera around the house depending where the baby falls asleep and there’s always a little lag to connect but super clear camera. Wish the app had an option to mute the camera or turn it off when just using the sock. Great info on my baby’s sleep pattern as well.

The camera and sock both works excellently and I can keep track of my baby and her health stats. This is a great value for peace of mind and checking on my daughter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Owlet Baby Care dream Duo 3rd generation sock and camera are incredible. I have 3 kids and my youngest is 3 months old and I wish I would have had this for all of my kids when they were babies. It gives such peace of mind when your baby is sleeping. That alone make it worth the money. The app that goes with it is wonderful and easy to use and connect to. You can see all the readings from the sock easily in the app and the camera video. The only thing I would change about this product is I wish the camera connected to a separate screen and not just my phone. I like to look at the monitor when I’m in bed and it would be easier to just glance up instead of logging on to the app. Other than that it is a fantastic product! I know this gets mixed reviews based on other parents’ experiences, but after using it for over a year with our son, I can honestly say it’s been worth it. I didn’t use one with my last three babies, but after having our fourth we decided to give it a try. We did run into some of the same connectivity issues others mentioned, and it took a few tries to get it fully connected. It was frustrating at first, but worth it for the peace of mind. The instructions say to connect it to a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel, so make sure your router is capable of that beforehand. In the 13 months we have been using it, we’ve only had three alarms, all due to sock placement issues. Despite that, the sock has given us a lot of reassurance throughout the first year. One tip from our experience is to keep your baby’s foot covered with socks or footed pajamas to avoid the flashing yellow “sock placement” alert. It has been especially helpful when my son was sick, since we could immediately see his elevated heart rate on the app, which signaled a fever. Before this, we were using the Nanit Pro camera, but I really like that this one works with the same app as the Owlet sock. I love that you can see the O₂ and heart rate stats right at the top of the monitor screen, which saves me from having to go back and forth. Having everything in one place makes it much easier to use and navigate, and the app itself is very user friendly. I do pay for the subscription, and I feel it’s worth it for the daily insights. It shows your baby’s average O₂ levels, heart rate, comfort temperature, and even a breakdown of sleeping positions. It’s really interesting to see how much my son moves throughout the night. The app also gives you the daily average room temperature and humidity level. There are a few drawbacks, though. It does have a slightly longer lag compared to the Nanit, and while it’s not drastic, it is noticeable. The video quality also isn’t quite as sharp as the Nanit. Those are the only two cons I have found. Overall, it has been such a valuable source of reassurance, and I would definitely suggest it to fellow parents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a seriously hard time getting these items connected to my WiFi. I downloaded two apps and contacted support. After finally getting them online it was pretty easy to get these up and running. The camera provides a super clear picture with a slight delay when viewing from my phone. The sock is super neat and fit my 4 month old well. It’s like a smart watch for my baby, which I love. I like knowing oxygen levels, heart rate and her current activity level. She’s currently in my room, but once she moves into her nursery I plan to use all the provided pieces to mount this to her wall behind her crib. Overall this is a super cool video and baby monitoring combo. I’ve always had this on my wishlist, so I was so happy to receive and try this product out.

I have so many things to say about this product I’ll start with the camera itself, the video is so CLEAR and the audio is perfect, and it also tracts the baby sleep like what???? And the fact that it says non hacking?!!!! Just good things! About the socks It’s AMAZING! It does what’s supposed to do, I have one little concern, the baby sleeps with me for now, and the base is next to my bed, so if the baby has the socks and is awake for a little while but he’s transitioning into sleep the sock might start beeping and that can distract the baby, that would chance once he starts to sleep in his room by himself. I really enjoyed tracking his sleep and not being concerned if he’s getting good sleep or not. The app is wonderful it was so easy to set up, so easy to understand everything I love it love it love it I could give it a 10 star if I could!
