My grandmother had ordered me this as a gift after we had lost our baby boy from SIDs. The camera and sock is amazing. Like, a really amazing thing. Even if our girl kicks off her sock (6mths old), the app lets us know and even lets my husband know while hes at work. It's nice to know I can just look at her readings and the camera and ensure that she is okay. Definitely a life and anxiety saver for me and my husband. This is more of a huge thank you for whoever made and thought of this sock and camera. You've brought a huge relief to us.

As a worried mama and RN having the Owlet has brought great comfort in knowing my little one is sleeping safe and sound. I have always had high anxiety. The first few nights home my husband and I were taking shifts staying awake holding our son or watching him sleep to see his chest move. When we finally put the owlet on we were able to sleep (well until our son wakes us to eat) I have been able to stress less and sleep deeper knowing that there is a monitor on him. We are going to start traveling with him soon and being able to bring the owlet with us will help remove one stressor from traveling with a baby!

My baby spend 7 weeks in the NICU and suffered with desats, when we came home the only reason I was able to sleep through the night was because of her owlet. 5 days after she came home her low oxygen alarm went off and we were able to turn the lights on and stim her back to normal. Although it was terrifying, knowing that we would not sleep through an alarm and would always be aware if she needed us made it so I could allow myself to sleep a little deeper. We have now been using it for almost 3 months and have had no false alarms, sometimes we will get notified if it is not reading correctly but it is a very different sound so it does not cause panic and I would much rather know it needs to be adjusted. The camera is also nice because it monitors temperature and humidity to make sure the environment is safe as well.

I highly recommend the Owlet Dream Duo. As a first-time mom, it has brought me immense peace of mind, knowing that my baby is safe and sound. The device allows me to see my baby clearly, monitor her heart rate, and ensure that she’s in a comfortable room temperature.

the camera itself is of high quality, i love that it reads the temp and humidity levels. however, sometimes it does take a while to connect to the app- i am often having to restart the app to be able to look at my baby girl and that gets frustrating! i definitely recommend the camera but just know sometimes the communication with the app lags.

I love this monitoring sock and camera. I can relax a little knowing he is being monitored. It especially gives me peace of mind when he’s under the weather. The only thing I would recommend is increasing the distance between the base and the sock. Or maybe allowing multiple bases to be used for the same sock/child. This way you don’t have to move it throughout the home.
