We’ve been using the Owlet Dream Duo with our baby and it’s honestly brought me so much peace of mind at night. Being able to check the Dream Sock and quickly peek at the Dream Sight camera without going into her room has helped me relax so much more instead of constantly wondering if everything is okay. The setup was easy, the app is simple to use, and it’s just naturally become part of our bedtime routine. As a mom, anything that helps me feel calmer and more confident at night is such a win, and I’m really grateful we have the Dream Duo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our baby was in the NICU for 4 days after being born preterm at 34 weeks and 2 days. The Owlet provides peace of mind now that we are home. The sock is similar to the NICU sock monitor because it provides data on your baby’s vitals. For a NICU parent, this brought comfort when we came home. We used a command strip and move the camera from h side room to our room, and even the living room. It is durable and we’ve had no issues with it. It’s built with the best technology in mind.

While the product is beautiful and does give piece of mind, I find it frustrating this only records 7 seconds at a time. If my son does something in his sleep that I want to show the doctor this monitor only has 7 second to catch it. Also as a mom sometimes these are the only videos I have with my child, so being able to select a longer time seems like a HUGE missing function. Doesn't even have a live record option if I want to take a video. I also can't hear whats going on in the room unless I leave the app open on my phone the whole time which makes it impossible to do anything else on my phone. I think this could really be helped with the sound of the app being able to run in the background or even an optional monitor display that could be purchased separately. While the product itself is nice, the programming limitations and features leave a lot to be desired.

It not only includes a 2K HD video monitor, but it also includes the first FDA-cleared Dream Sock®. The setup was simple. I downloaded the Owlet App, and it walked me through the setup process. The process only took minutes. I was able to customize the camera for my grandson. Once the system is set up, the camera monitors the room's temperature and humidity level, as well as my grandson's cries, motion, and sound alerts. I love that this camera has built-in night vision, making it easy to see in the middle of the night. The video is crisp and clear. When paired with the Dream Sock®, the sock will monitor the baby's pulse rate, oxygen level, and sleep patterns. When my grandson goes out of the predetermined zones, I will get an alert right to my phone via the Owlet App. This duo also comes with a charging base for the Dream Sock® and four different-sized socks to use as your baby grows. The sock is easy to place on your baby's foot and stays in place once on. It is made of soft material. This is a quality baby monitor with many features, and I highly recommend it.

The quality of the materials used was well above what I was expecting. Even the power cords feel nice and come with a velcro strap to keep things tidy. Set up was very simple and instalation was quick. I love that there were included cord covers to help keep baby safe and to make a mounted camera look much nicer. After all of the time spent putting together a nursery, the last thing I wanted was an ugly dangling cord. With the covers, its barely noticeable! The camera has a "status right" that I found to be bright and wished I could turn it off. One quick web search and I discovered that there is a toggle in settings and it's super easy to turn off. It's like they knew what I wanted before I did! I highly recommend this duo. The combination of camera and sensor made moving baby into her own space much easier on me plus I love learning about her sleep patterns!

I love how I can check on my sleeping baby from the other room through my phone, I can check his temp, I can check the humidity in his room, I can monitor his bpm, and oxygen levels. It arrives beautifully packaged with user friendly fast setup. While also coming with easy to follow instructions and absolutely everything you need and extras!
