I had a problem with an area that I could not get out of and requested a call and within minutes I received a call from Julia. she was very professional and nice. She had never experienced my problem before and put me on hold to get help. She always checked in on me as it was taking awhile. We could not figure out how to solve the problem. She had Jamal come on the call and he was great!! Again we couldn't figure it out. They tried everything but never gave up!! Finally as a team we were able to fix the situation. Never did they get frustrated or impatient. I appreciate their hard work and feel they are a GREAT asset to your company.

I think the app is intuitive lol pun intended. I do not like that everything you do comes with another fee. This used to be much more affordable to get done. I am considering switching to a cheaper platform next year if there continues to be more and more fees to do something that should be a one and one product.

Extremely confusing information about direct deposit. I needed to change my direct deposit information and it made it seem like there wasn't an option to on the final screen. I wasted over an hour on the phone and screen sharing with customer service to figure out how to do it, only to find that it allowed you to on the next screen when you select "other options." It's 2025, it should not have been this confusing to the point where it took an hour on the phone and speaking to two customer service workers (my call had to be escalated to the support team) just to figure it out. Now I have a headache and am mentally drained and exhausted for no reason after an already mentally draining night of filing my taxes. It's now 9:30pm PT and I haven't even had dinner yet because I've been dealing with this unnecessarily for a whole hour, after over 6 1/2 hours of going through the tedious process of filing. Simply put: Please make this more clear and user-friendly in the future!!! Also, I feel ripped off paying a $44 fee just to file via the internet. Freetaxusa.com is completely free.

Good product. I wish the government had a software like this. The user experience is pretty great for someone without too many complications in their taxes. I don't like how the software continues to nudge me to purchase added value services and sometimes I feel that it is misleading me to do so with click patterns. Please do not go further down that direction else I may lose trust with a company that is handling my taxes. Also, I have a feeling that Intiut is going to get us all dependent on TurboTax and raise prices over time. It's so easy to ask for more, when the user sees the money coming out of the return that they are getting and does not need to pay out of pocket for the service.

I've been using TurboTax for at least 15 years and, as usual, it is always a good experience! I love how they import your last year's information so to make data entry less intensive and how they can import your financial information too (1099-DIVs, 1099-INTs, etc).The only problem I had this year was when choosing to upload an electronic file I already had for a 1099-DIV form (a .pdf). When it imported that pdf into the program, it got my address wrong (had the wrong state). So when the program went to perform the 'federal check', it found an error: the zip code didn't match the state. There was no way for me to change this on the form or in the program. So I had to delete that 1099-DIV from the Income area and re-add it manually (just type the information in). Really no big deal - only took a few minutes.

I found it more difficult this year to get the answers I needed as I worked through the process. I have used TurboTax for years and prefer it to other options. I will continue to use TurboTax. I would like it to cost less since I am retired. I have to use one of the upgraded programs because of small tax investment.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. Apparently I made the "mistake" last year of using the desktop version. The online version treats that tax year as if it doesn't exist or if I filed with someone else. Bigger issue however was the importing. My investment firm is a "linked partner" and the info was all entered and verified under the account information. However, Turbo Tax online was unable to retrieve any information and I had to enter it all manually. I still am a fan of Turbo Tax but they need to work out some recent bugs.

Turbo Tax (Intuit) lobbies to keep our tax system complicated, so you are basically reliant on their services to navigate the complexity. It is very apparent that the good user experience and fast snappy filing is just a way for them to make more money off you. Taxation in the United States should not be an industry. Period. Think about it. Why should people make money off being the middlemen for what the government knows we owe? Why should they get money for us simply paying taxes? Adding to the burden?

This software needs a few changes. First, when one starts their return, they are bombarded with Turbo-Tax ads for various payment and service options etc. It is to confusing and to time consuming. Second, on the pages that list investment options, it needs to have an easily located button for uploading 1099 documents, etc. At present, it only promotes one to search for other items, before they stumble on the uploads option. Speaking of uploads, it would be better if one could upload all of their documents in the beginning and be done with it. This would eliminate the need to individually change or correct each item from the previous year.

TurboTax made it SOOOO easy to do my taxes as someone that has always asked parents or spouse to handle it. I completed it all myself. However, i found it overwhelming how many times i was prompted to spend more money on additional services to help me which means I would not need to complete it myself.
