I would feel bad giving you less stars just because of the cost, but I do wish this was cheaper. I understand my taxes are pretty simple and i could almost certainly file them on paper myself, but I do appreciate the speed and simplicity of Turbo Tax, I just personally think it costs quite a bit now for my style of taxes. I remember for many years this was free for me as I'm pretty low income and don't do any complicated money things. I would not expect it to be free any longer but almost half my federal refund was taken in Turbo tax fees. Not a complaint on you guys the tools all work and Turbo tax is still wonderfully fast simple and easy. Thank you as always!

This should be a product from the government, not one that we have to pay to use to pay taxes. It's fairly user friendly, if you have any knowledge of how to do taxes. But it is constantly trying to up sell you on products you do not need to file your taxes. Also, the state of Oregon requires you to pay to submit online, ridiculous, it is easier and more convenient for them if I file on line, they should not charge for something that makes their job easier.

TurboTax is good. BUT you need to make it easier to file a NON-RESIDENT California state return (or any state for that matter). Complicating matters was that I am working in a foreign country not another US state. The instructions on what steps or process to take to have the CA Form 540 NR be used are not clear. There needs to be better drop downs, better questions from TurboTax about your residency, etc. while initially filling in your personal/tax information. I poked around and changed things for an hour to finally get the NR tax return to populate.

It does the job, but there is always an extra charge for something. When I started using it, I was able to do more with it and it didn't cost anything. Now, anything I may need extra costs extra. As many people that use this site, it should not be as expensive as it is.

We spend much more time than what you say the time will take to complete taxes. It seems like not all our forms come in from financial institutions. Could you make this more seamless? I'm a children's author, so this is a business. I keep track of what I purchase for my business and keep records of payment royalties, but it is still confusing. Reminders throughout the year from TurboTax with tips for small businesses would be helpful.

Great experience again. Thanks to Turbo Tax for leading me through the reporting of my investments, some for the first time. The federal forms were at first confusing, but Turbo Tax made them very understandable. Love the year-to-year comparison, which really helped finding my current year paperwork. State Taxes were a breeze, TT did it all. Next year should be easier with this year's experience.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 7 years to do my taxes. They have done an outstanding job and I have never experienced any issue with the IRS on my returns. In 2023 I started my small business and I did many mistakes in my business. I had Quickbooks to keep track of expenses and I thought that it would help me when Tax season came for that year. Long story short I didn't need Quickbooks. TurboTax Business took all the info from my bank accounts and did all the work that Quickbooks would have charged me to do my taxes. I know I will eventually require more careful bookkeeping as my business grows but for now TurboTax has been the only tool I use to do my Tax returns.

I love using Turbotax, I have used it for years. The ease of filing taxes is amazing and I love that it helps walk you through each question. However, I do wish that the fees were either lower, or nonexistent like they used to be when I filed with turbotax. I know every business has to make money, I'm not crazy.

Online version is only ok. It doesn't print all the forms sent to the irs, like qualified dividends. It also is limited to 200 trades on 1099-B so if you have an issue with a txn and need to update it, you can't and need to delete the imported 1099-B and reimport it so if flags the txn that need to be corrected. Not fund

They force you to pay for Products and Subscription that dont apply to you or that you dont want. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FILE FOR FREE. I DID MY WHOLE TAX RETURN BY MYSELF BUT STILL WAS FORCED TO PAY A DANG PREMIUM! NOT legal or fair !! Last year Ill be using this Pile of Poop
