I've been using TurboTax for several years now to prepare and submit my personal and business income tax returns. They make it extremely easy to do your own taxes and save that exorbitant amount your CPA or other financial advisor would love to charge you! Thank You, TurboTax!

It is a very good tax program, but it keeps threating you to pay more if you don't complete it by a specific date. When I had the actual program, I could wait until when ever to do it because I had the program on my computer. This is the first and last time to use the online version.

I always enjoyed using Turbo Tax in the past. For some reason, this year it didn't supply previous years data. There also seemed to be quite a few glitches in entering income, I had to delete and reenter several Dividend and Pension Entries. Will look for other options next year.

I found navigating the income item and reporting more difficult having to open more pages to locate my individual accounts. Also your web site triggered my web blocker on my Mac which caused a delay in my filing with you this year. I almost changed to another product due to the frustration. I have done my own taxes with you for many years and hope your changes keep it simple and basic as possible.

Entirely too expensive . I paid almost 300 on a 1100 refund. Just sad... I paid 300 to see now they want another $59 to do my state. But I see they did do one stete, the one I owed. Now it want to pay $59 fee to doy 129 state refund. So I paid 350 to get a 1103 refund process!!!! Just rridiculous

I like aspects of the software, like how easy it generally is to navigate and the additional information you can get when you need it. However, I do not like how frequently and at times sneakily they try to get you to spend more on their services. A good example of this is the view towards the end that looks like it is about how you want to receive your funds (direct deposit to your credit karma account or your bank account up to 5 days earlier). I missed the "no thanks" at the bottom indicating that this screen was optional and was surprised to see $70 of additional fees added for "processing". Going back through I figured it out and how to remove it, but it just felt so underhanded and sneaky.

Most of the process was good - it made working through my small business/sole proprietorship really easy. But it never prompted me for my IP PIN and then it was hard to figure out how to put in the PIN. I had to call and get help. The help was quick and easy. But I shouldn't have needed it. Something as big as your identity protection PIN should really be on one of the filing screens!

Very frustrated in it not allowing me to update the saved investments from last year. It showed a review button but would not open. I had to re enter all my information as new investments, and at the end, it then asked me to update them again!?!!! You need to check this flaw, and why didn't it compare the new entries with the old ones as the TTN etc were exactly the same?

I have used turbo tax for the last several years. It walks me through the process step by step. I love that it keeps information from year to year saving me time in retyping it. After putting in all my information (income and deductions) it lets me know that taking the standard deduction is best. Also, everything is transferred over to the state form saving me that headache. I highly recommend using it. It is work every penny and if you file early, you get a discount.

In a lawsuit Turbo Tax had to pay people for tricking them into paying for a product tht they could get cheaper. This year the same thing happened to me and it forced me into premium with no way out. Last time using this software, there are other far cheaper options.
