Smooth process, easy to use. My only issue was that the app froze up repeatedly in the middle of the process of entering various information for federal and I had to go through the website instead to continue. The app worked again towards the end (filing state, payment details, electronically signing and submitting).

I’m not great at doing taxes — honestly, all the forms and paperwork kind of freak me out. But TurboTax really takes the stress out of it. It walks you through everything step by step, so you’re not guessing or Googling every other line. The built-in help is super handy. You can ask questions right in the app, and the AI is actually helpful. Plus, knowing there are real tax pros you can talk to if you get stuck is a huge relief. Overall, TurboTax turned what’s usually a panic-inducing chore into something easy and even — dare I say — kind of empowering.

Turbo Tax assisted me with tax filing however; there were some items that I had to review and get mor help outside of the app/website to complete my filing. It took longer than expected to get it all done. Some items need to be clear and the suggested articles did not always answer my specific questions. It was addressed but not with a concise answer.

May not be an issue with the software, however, my return was rejected multiple times for error number IND-031-04 having to do with prior year AGI figure. This was so even though I checked it multiple times and obtained my IRS transcript supporting the figure. Very frustrating and may wind up having to print and mail my returns causing delays in refund.

Used to be a good alterntiave to going to s tax preparer, now it's more expensive than paying somone else to do all the wotk. Every year it gets more expensive. the automated support before getting to rep id frustrating, asing you to spell your name and it keeps gettin it wrong and you're stuck there saying the sam thing for 5 minutes judt to pell it agin for the rep

Turbo Tax used to be clean and elegant. It is now very clumsy to use. It is hard to find topics. I couldn't figure out how to review a copy of the return until I was actually just about to file. There is no reason that you shouldn't be able to access a copy of the hard return at any time during the preparation process. The constant requests to up charge or purchase additional products are really annoying. I know -- "they're for our benefit". Baloney !!!!

I have used TurboTax for many years. This year I ran into two issues and had to research online for a solution and then it wouldn't carry over my information at the filing process and it took me some time to determine I could select the "other software" feature for 2023 in order to file. What is interesting is that when I reached the 2023 ADI input screen it had filled in that number. The other issue was with my K-1 entry where Code Z should be left blank to generate the additional entry form I needed. Took me a week before I figured out how to proceed.

Turbo tax has deteriorated into an unworkable, cumbersome, disastrous piece of garbage. I have used turbo tax for 20 + years.. you have made is so cumbersome, I swear I will never use it again. I was charged twice. I was trying to find an error in ,arch, but the software would not allow me to see the final return and I mistakenly filed and the filing was rejected I knew there were errors but couldn’t find the way to get back to input data, or see the summaries in a way that I could find the entry.

Whew! I had some complicated transactions. I had to ChatGPT some questions and I went from owing $1200 to getting a refund for $252. I kept trying to figure out why the lines weren't calculating correctly, but I used AI to walk through it bc TurboTax wasn't clear. But I didnt have to use a Tax accountant this year.

Turbotax is easy to use and really well referenced over all. Good accessible language. But most of all Tracy W was amazing during my live advice chat. She was patient, thorough, educative, and looked at was more than the question I asked. She was a wonderful guide and frankly, she and Letiticia W changed my lukewarm, suspicious opinion of Turbotax to more trustful and won some loyalty from me.
