The Mah jong set from sam's was a great purchase. I researched considerably prior to buying. Ifeel very happy with this set. It has everything except the cards. It is beautiful and sturdy, definitely a quality set. It does have a crease in the mat from being folded,and the pusher on the rack is not attached. These are two things I wanted to avoid, but I love the set and those things are irrevelent for me.

Nice quality set. Great price. The tiles are very sturdy. (We have dropped them on a ceramic floor and NO dents or marks on the tiles.) The only downside is the tiles do not slide easily on the mat. However, it is getting easier with use.

Really like the mat - very pretty. The tiles are easy to read. All of the cases are very convenient.

Purchased online the process was quick, easy and delivered next day. Over the holidays I was introduced to Mahjong and wanted to purchase. Searched internet and decided on this set. From description and pics I thought this was the best set for price an not disappointed! Quality and Detail exceeded my expectations!

I’m writing solely about the customer service. I bought my set yesterday and when I opened I could tell the bag had some stitching issues. I emailed the company, got an immediate response with a reply they would send a new one and today got the shipping confirmation. What service!!

This product is definitely first-rate. I bought this game recently and was seriously amazed when I unpacked it. I could immediately tell it was a very well made version of the Mahjong board game. I'd go as far to say it's comparable to the more expensive versions sold on other websites but with a much better price tag. As I am new to playing the board game version, I would have preferred some additional instructions but I've been able to find a few online tutorials that seem to be helpful so far. I am really excited and looking forward to enjoying this game with friends and family.

To be honest, I had zero clue what Mahjong even was when I ordered this set. My girlfriend had mentioned wanting one for our game nights, so I figured I'd surprise her with something nicer than the basic ones. The moment the box arrived, I was blown away by how hefty it felt. Everything inside says quality, from the beautifully engraved acrylic tiles and sturdy clear racks to the rubber-bottomed mat, leather case, and carrying bag that make the whole setup feel truly luxurious. I'm learning the game myself now, and it's super fun. It's definitely joining our regular game night rotation. Great purchase, and she absolutely loves it!

Absolutely stunning, but does not have the rule book with it or instructions. New to Mahjong but looking forward to the year of the fire horse so had to grab this. Luckily there are plenty of videos online to learn to play, but I would have really like to have had a physical copy of the rules that came with my set that I’d keep all together. I do like the little decoration cards it came with, those are a sweet touch. I look forward to learning mahjong this year with my family and for the changes 2026 and the year of the fire horse brings.

The Matt was very nice. The sliders were not. They were not connected and the part you use to slide was flimsy. The cases were nice but have a terrible smell. Even a month later. The tiles are nice.

Some of the tiles are printed with pale yellow ink and they are nearly unreadable. I had to take a permanent marker to color it in. The bag, carrying case are great. The tiles are chunky and a fun color on the backside. The mat is “meh” but fine overall. The price for the set is awesome.
