If you need to be aware of your surroundings, simply turn off Active Noise Cancellation. You're correct that this feature only works when both earbuds are inserted in your ears. We also noted your concerns regarding the fit. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with different sizes of ear tips, so it is important to ensure you have the right size for your ears. A proper fit prevents gaps between the ear tips and your ears, avoiding sound leaks and ensuring optimal audio quality. Once you have the correct tips attached, check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks that indicate “L” for the left ear and “R” for the right. Insert the right bud into your right ear, making sure the “R” is facing you, and do the same for the left bud. Angle the earbuds slightly so that the microphone points toward your mouth, and adjust them by rotating until they feel comfortable. You can also run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to confirm you have the proper fit.
