Usability is top-tier; the transition to a stem-based design allows for perfectly engineered pinch and swipe controls, making volume and playback intuitive and reliable. The true headline, however, is Galaxy AI. Features like Real-Time Translation (with a Galaxy phone) and advanced Adaptive ANC, which intelligently tailors noise canceling to your surroundings (e.g., dampening a jet engine while allowing a voice announcement), deliver an unparalleled, futuristic experience. ​Unfortunately, the new, angular design of the main earbud body, which sits deeper in the concha, causes significant discomfort and irritation for a notable number of users. This is a common complaint, with some finding the new shape virtually unwearable for extended periods or for simply resting their head. The issue prevents the Buds from being the ultimate all-day earbud they were designed to be. ​The next generation requires a complete redesign of the earbud shell to a smoother, more universally ergonomic shape. The current Pro models are an engineering marvel in audio and AI, but a design rethink is mandatory to match that excellence with foundational, all-day comfort.

The best sounding buds from Samsung so far. I own the buds live and they're good for quiet areas and when you want to hear your surroundings. I traded in my Buds Pros for these because they kept falling out of my ears no matter what I tried. These buds fit securely and sound amazing. Full balanced sound with punchy bass. Great software and features. The best buds by Samsung by far in my opinion.

Im a samsung fan..i do like these earphones, the music quality is good. However, the left side keeps falling out of my ear when im at the gym. Also, bending over to pick up weights is also an issue as they fsll out. I do believe i have the bigges bud cushon on them. Thats my only concer with these.

Honestly I'm not really sold on the design. It's good to have change but this one wasn't it. The buds prior had a much better fit imo in my ears and it's more discreet. These fit well but it just doesn't feel super snug compared to it's previous gen. I do love the light bar feature as it gives it a futuristic look and I'm just a sucker with anything that has that cyberpunk future look. In terms of audio quality, I don't know. It honestly sounds the same. I know alot of people said it's a night and day difference but I don't see it. What I will say is that the ambient noise and noise canceling is much better than the pro 2. Of course with any product from launch there are sometimes minor defects that come with being an early adaptor and I feel like I've become a victim. Not only has Samsung recalled the buds because of failing rubber tips, I've noticed that my left ear bud light bar is slightly less bright compared to the right. Doing a quick Google search reveals I'm not the only one. Also my right ear bud would sometimes make a pop sound randomly. It's hard to confirm if it's bass related or treble. I've disabled ambient sound mode just to rule out different things but so far the experience has been mid. So In the end, I personally would just stick with the buds pro 2 if you have no issues with them.

However, a few technical quirks detract from the overall polish. Specifically, the charging contacts can be finicky; if an earbud is dropped and replaced, it occasionally fails to initiate charging within the case. Furthermore, the 'Find My Earbud' locator feature needs improvement, as the beeping sound is often not loud enough to be effective. A less frequent, but notable, issue is that dropping a bud can sometimes introduce a brief period of white noise, rendering the earbud temporarily inoperable until it is cycled through the charging case. Despite these minor setbacks, the array of features, especially the real-time translation capabilities, offers exceptional value for Samsung smartphone users.

The OK: The audio quality and noise protection are fine, I'm not an expert so I don't know how competitive they are. The fit is a little loose (I have tried the different pads), but as long as you aren't working out its fine. Battery works for me, charge case every couple days. buds and case both charge fast. The Bad: But I have had several issues with the earbuds making deafening screeches (unprompted), boosting surrounding ambient noise to a nauseating level when in ambient mode, and the microphone completely failing after 6 months of moderate use (failing to pick up anything while on a call and producing static when running tests in the voice recorder app). The last problem might have been caused by a software update (just a guess), I am going in to try to get them repaired. Connects to phone and tablet fine, but if you save it as on option on a (non-Samsung) laptop it will try to connect even when the laptop is closed and not playing audio (stealing the audio from a phone that is playing audio) Phone I used when getting these results. I’m impressed with the build and sound quality of these earbuds. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the buds aren’t equally charged when I take them out of the case. Additionally, while listening to music on Spotify or SiriusXM using my brand new Galaxy S25, the playback occasionally speeds up or slows down slightly. This doesn't happen with my JBL headphones, so it seems specific to this product. Hoping this can be addressed in a future update.

I never understood why people with airpods pros wore both ear pieces while having a conversation with a person infront of them until I got a hold of the galaxy buds 3 pro. They are amazing. Having both ear pieces in with ambient sound on is amazing. I've owned 2 other galaxy buds types. And I was hoping Samsung would come out with a line that looked like airpods pro. Truly amazing headphones.
