The touch controls are terrible

I love the sound and comfort but compared to the previous two iterations, the touch controls suck. I hate the pinch thing, it never works like it should and it's impossible for me to change the volume with the buds, I have to use my phone or watch. I can not overstate how much I hate the touch controls, I would not buy these again based off of that, if I lost it Brooke these I would buy buds 2 pro over these.

Terrible controls for active people

These are absolutely worthless if you plan on using them for running. One of the biggest reasons for buying these was because the Buds Pro 2 would start falling out after some miles and when pushing them back into the ear, they would change tracks 9/10 times. I thought these would fix that, but now the touch controls are near impossible to use while in stride. Having the control on the ear lobe side of the wedge was a huge mistake. You have to get your thumb between your ear lobe and the device, which is incredibly difficult. If you want to go back to a previous track while in motion, forget it. I tried nearly 30 times and couldn't get it to go back to the previous track. I could go to the beginning of the track, but not one time could I do it consistent enough to return one more track. If you want these for the airplane, or sitting around the house, they'll be fine. If you are the least but active and want them out hiking, running, walking, or whatever, then don't bother. You're better spending your money on a set dedicated to sports. Highly disappointed with these.

Best buds for active users

Best of the ear buds that I've worn, and I've had each pair that has been on the market.. from the Galaxy Buds to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro... I only had the GB2 for a few months, but they hurt, and randomly would fall out no matter how well I thought they were in my ears. Working in EMS and constantly having to call hospital ER desk to give patient care reports, so I wear one bud for the entirety of the day while on the ambulance. No trouble with the GB3 pro, and they sound great.

Highly recommended, premium in everything

Better than the previous ones, Galaxy Buds Pro 3 offer excellent sound quality, very good noise cancellation and a very comfortable fit. They have a perfect integration with Samsung devices and its ecosystem, they have an improved battery life and intuitive touch controls, they are an excellent option for premium wireless headphones. Their construction is premium from every angle. Highly recommended.

Concept good but failed execution

Really wanted to like these buds. However, the tips are difficult to remove and despite trying different sizes, I was not able to get a good fit. Tips are very flimsy and tore easily. Had to buy third party foam tips. Replacing buds is also akward. Prior buds would be easy to store. Would have given 2 stars, but sound is improved from previous versions.

Get for all Samsung and non-Samsung devices

The Galaxy Buds3 Pro Silver are amazing. I do love the new form factor as it helps keep the buds in my ear regardless of my activity (I personally believe they would stay in my ears during an earthquake). Furthermore, the seamless switch between connecting to my Samsung Laptop and my Z Fold6 is totally worth it. I have already ordered another pair to use with my Work Laptop.

You'll like them!

I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5 because I had no option other than to trade in my previous earbuds. With my previous buds, they were causing some type of skin irritation within my ear canal. Luckily the Buds3 Pro is not affecting me in any way. The features of the Buds3 Pro are pretty cool and easy to use with the app alongside. They are very adaptive to motion and outside noise. All these features can be customize to your liking. Hopefully, I don't have to trade these in any time soon.

Good build and sound quality, but with a few quirk

I’m impressed with the build and sound quality of these earbuds. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the buds aren’t equally charged when I take them out of the case. Additionally, while listening to music on Spotify or SiriusXM using my brand new Galaxy S25, the playback occasionally speeds up or slows down slightly. This doesn't happen with my JBL headphones, so it seems specific to this product. Hoping this can be addressed in a future update.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Anton! It’s great to see that you’re enjoying the build and sound quality. Regarding the earbuds not being equally charged, you might want to check and clean the charging contacts to ensure a proper connection. Sometimes, a little maintenance can make a difference! As for the playback speed variations, while using Spotify or SiriusXM, we recommend checking and making sure that your device and phone are up to date with the latest software. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to deliver the best experience possible. Almost Perfect

These sound great. Not long ago, Samsung buds were rough sounding. AKG tuning I guess made them sound too high in the treble ranges, but there are much better. When wireless charging, the case can get a bit warm which scares me a bit with Samsungs past, but other than that I have no complaints. Major improvements and the stem style change fits my ears so much better. Chefs kiss with the samsung trade-in values on their own products; top tier.

Terrible physical design

The physical design of the case and buds is awful. Unlike conventional design, the buds face ouwards when stored inside the case. For example, when trying to put the left earbud back into the case, you have the rotate the bud 180 degrees (or use two hands) so that it will face the opposite direction of how it goes into your ears. The stem of the earbud is short and not round which makes rotating it difficult and susceptible to it falling out of your hands when trying to put it back into the case. The controls of the earbuds are not good. Pinching the earbud is not comfortable compared to tapping. The volume slider is inconsistent and requires too many repetitive inputs to go from minimum to maximum volume (and vice versa). It is possible that these concerns were not brought up by product testers, or that they are simply not catered to my preferences, but I am still very unsatisfied with it after using it for weeks. I would recommend waiting for a new revision of these buds after they iron out the kinks. (Or use an older generation model)

It's great to hear from you, Andy! Your feedback is essential as we continue to make improvements all around. We noticed your feedback is in regard to the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. The Buds3 Pro features a brand-new design that brings you closer to incredible audio, with a shape that your ears will love. The fresh finishes and the new clear charging case help them stand out from other buds. We really appreciate your candid feedback on the Buds3 Pro and its case. Your feedback is key to our process of making changes and improvements. Regarding the inconsistent volume slider, we recommend manually restarting your Samsung earbuds if you've recently upgraded to a new phone or are switching between connected devices. This can also help resolve minor issues, such as unresponsiveness of the earbuds. Additionally, you can perform a factory reset using the Galaxy Wearable app. Please check out the attached link for detailed instructions on how to do this. Samsung offers a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturer defects. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support.
