I received this kit as a Fathers day gift from my kids. unfortunately the kit was missing one part, I ordered a replacement and now have to wait 2 weeks before I can finish the model. What I have built so far had been pretty easy, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The build quality is excellent, just frustrating to have to wait for a part that should have been part of the kit to begin with.

Great set to build and lots of moveable parts inside the build (i thought the running engine was a particularly nice touch) just wish it was a slightly bigger set at the price point

This was my first Technic set. I've never really been a fan of these 1:18 Technic cars, but I got this one because it looked like one of the better looking ones and because the Ford GT is low key probably one of my favorite cars of all time. It was a pretty fun build, and I'm pretty pleased with the final product. But I expected more from a set specifically marketed towards 18+ adult builders carrying a significantly higher MSRP compared to other Technic cars similar in scale and detail. I would really only recommend this if you're a very big fan of the car itself.

Why is this model $10 more expensive than the other cars in this line? It just doesn't make any sense. All in all, this is another beautifully done technic vehicle. The subtle angles and accurately opening doors and rear clamshell are nice touches, and were huge motivators in me buying this.

The details are impressive for the size, especially the front design. It was fun but not too complicated to assemble, and it looks great. Feels like a perfect mix of nostalgia and creativity for car lovers.

There are a lot of step, which makes it a serious build, rather than rushing through it. Steps are very well laid out and as always lego quality is obvious. Still not done yet, cant wait to see the end result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed building this set. It took me about 3 or 4 hours to build and contained 6 bags of legos. There is a section about the car in the beginning that was interesting to read, though my instruction book was a bit ripped on the edges of the early pages. The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow, though I did miss a step near the end and had to redo a small portion. The front hood, back of the car, and the doors open, and there is a mechanism to move the wheels so the car can be steered and moved around. There is a lot of detail that went into the chassis system and the appearance that I appreciate - the headlights being pieces and not stickers are a nice detail. Based on pictures, it looks pretty accurate (within the capabilities of LEGO and without using custom parts) to the real car, though I am not a collector or an expert on cars. It was bigger than I expected (not sure why I thought it would be smaller) but looks really nice displayed on a desk or shelf. And it looks like it would be fun to play with even if you aren't a collector.
