I received this kit as a Fathers day gift from my kids. unfortunately the kit was missing one part, I ordered a replacement and now have to wait 2 weeks before I can finish the model. What I have built so far had been pretty easy, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The build quality is excellent, just frustrating to have to wait for a part that should have been part of the kit to begin with.

Great set to build and lots of moveable parts inside the build (i thought the running engine was a particularly nice touch) just wish it was a slightly bigger set at the price point

This was my first Technic set. I've never really been a fan of these 1:18 Technic cars, but I got this one because it looked like one of the better looking ones and because the Ford GT is low key probably one of my favorite cars of all time. It was a pretty fun build, and I'm pretty pleased with the final product. But I expected more from a set specifically marketed towards 18+ adult builders carrying a significantly higher MSRP compared to other Technic cars similar in scale and detail. I would really only recommend this if you're a very big fan of the car itself.

Why is this model $10 more expensive than the other cars in this line? It just doesn't make any sense. All in all, this is another beautifully done technic vehicle. The subtle angles and accurately opening doors and rear clamshell are nice touches, and were huge motivators in me buying this.

The details are impressive for the size, especially the front design. It was fun but not too complicated to assemble, and it looks great. Feels like a perfect mix of nostalgia and creativity for car lovers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute best influenster program ever! The packaging was pristine, the accuracy to the real 66 GT40 MKII was amazing! The weight makes it feel more like a collectable than a toy, and the stickers brought the whole thing to life!

Build was more challenging than I expected but not frustrating. In terms of accuracy it's excellent and is undoubtedly the 1966 Ford GT-40. The opening hood with 427 engine is a fun feature and overall this is one of the more sturdy Technic car sets.

Later that night he went on his friend group chat to show all his friends and they all thought it was a very cool Lego set! We put it together with each other and really enjoyed doing it. Very clear instructions and such an awesome result when it's all put together. The car is very durable, the pieces aren't just falling apart or coming apart easily. Anyone will enjoy this. Definitely worth the money!
