The taste is not good

Quick and tasty meal that everyone liked. Just add red pepper flakes for a boost of flavor! More protein than eating regular protein pasta—made with lupin flour which is related to peanuts/beans so watch out if you're allergic. Will buy again!

This contains lupini flour. Lupini is a legume. If you or your family member have a peanut allergy do not eat this. Our son has a peanut allergy and had to go to the emergency room and get an epinephrine shot due to ingesting this item.

The convenience aspect was the only real positive on this dish. Taste was mediocre at best. The penne had a good texture and was not mushy as sometimes happens in prepared meal like this. The sausage did not have enough flavor and not spicy enough. The sauce was the worst part of this dish as it was too dry, had no flavor and a weird texture. Dish could have had more cheese.

My family and I tried this last night for dinner. It was a little dry. I felt like there could have been a little more sauce. There also seemed to be a lot of pasta for it to be considered high protein. The pasta far outweighed the sausage. I think if a little more sauce and sausage were added and a little less pasta, it would have been perfect.
