[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a rice cooker for awhile so I was excited to be able to try this one and review it. It was pretty simple. I measured out the amount of rice and rinsed it before putting it and the correct amount of water into the machine. Then chose the appropriate setting and hit start. 40 minutes later and I had perfectly cooked rice. Next time I will try the reduced carb setting and see if there is a difference in taste. Clean up was just as easy. The rice never stuck to the pan so it cleaned out with hardly any effort. I like that it isn’t huge either. The machine itself cooled down fairly quickly, which is very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this Greenpan bistro rice cooker to be very efficient for cooking clean perfectly steamed rice. I noticed that there is a lot of starch trapped in the cylinder catch that goes above the rice. The cooker stays cool to the touch making it safe for everyone to enjoy using. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to reduce carbs and cook cleaner perfectly steamed rice.

This product is extremely non stick and is versatile. I cook a lot of rice for our dogs when they are having an upset stomach and this makes it so easy! The presets are great and cleaning is a breeze.

I also tried making a couple other recipes in it and they came out pretty good. I can’t really speak to the carb reducing part? But if it does help then that’s cool. This thing feels durable and solid. Easy to clean also.

I bought this on impulse after owning two inexpensive rice cookers. So glad I did! I didn’t think there could be such a difference! the rice cooks evenly, and perfectly every time. It cleans up very nicely. It looks nice on my counter. I’m going to try oatmeal in it next and then quinoa!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bet someone non-Asian designed this model. Why? Because the condensed water doesn't drip into something I can dump out. It just kind of pools inside the unit and leaves a wet mess in the general area when the cooker gets opened. Even Instant Pots have a condensation catcher, so I'm surprised at this design flaw. The touchscreen seems cool, but the interface can be frustrating, and digital buttons are more likely to fail. The glossy finish attracts fingerprints. Criticisms aside, the rice cooker has cool functions like the low carb options for white and brown rice. It makes PERFECT western-style rice. Separated grains that are never mushy and perfect for dishes like red beans and rice or salads. If you like the wet, sticky, and clumpy Asian-style rice, you're not going to like this as much. I love the oatmeal function. The timing and cooking are awesome. Aside from a few minor annoyances with the design, this is a sleek looking cooker that's perfect for smaller batches of rice or oatmeal and dishes that require a style of rice that isn't super sticky.
