BEWARE OF THE NUMBER OF STICKERS! lol this is a great product. My parents have one that is quite old and still runs great for the kids. If you are a procrastinator like myself, make sure you give yourself more than 30 minutes to put all the stickers on in their correct spots before gifting :)

Walmart site to store works very well for me. The John Deere Gator was purchased as a birthday present for my 2year old grandson.Once it arrived the assembly was pretty easy even though the instructions are pretty vague at times. Appling all the decals is very time consumming and somewhat frustrating. They have a large backyard so it is mainly used on a grass surface & I noticed that it loses traction fairly easily ( might have to purchase the rubber traction bands for the wheels also, at nearly $400.000 they should be included) The first charge on the battery takes 18hrs so give yourself plently of time before actually putting the John Deere Gator to use. My grandson & friends where very excited and rode it constantly for about 2hrs until the battery needed recharging. In summary it would be nice if you could purchase it ready to ride but it was worth the time invested.

I ordered this item for my daughters 2nd birthday she loves it and can drive it pretty well with some steering assistance and does sit on the edge of the seat but I wanted that I wanted something she would drive for a while around the property. To be honest it’s ok, we ordered one and had to return it because it had no bolts to put it together with. The next one came in no problem went together pretty easy. Now that’s she’s trying to drive it around it just can’t get much traction in the rear the tires are just constantly spinning it doesn’t matter if it’s grass, packed gravel, packed dirt, or the slab. Definitely doesn’t get enough traction to go up a small incline. If she sits in the bed of it and her sister drives it helps because it’s added weight to the back but obviously we don’t want that all the time. I added some blocks to the bed but I don’t feel like that should have been needed. Plus that’s the area where they should play out there own dirt and sticks and such not blocks stacked in the back to go honestly I don’t feel 100% confident with them back there and one of them try to move the block. Speed 1 and 2 are essentially the same speed and though at her age it’s ok and average person does walk faster than it. Overall for the price I should have opted for the fourwheeler that is an off brand like her sisters though they can’t ride together it did much better on our property and still going strong 4 years later.

I am totally disappointed. It is for my 5 year old. Wanted something bigger for him. Age range was thru 8 years. He is 55 lbs and 4 ft tall. With the seat all the way back his knees still hit the front dash. Plus the dump feature doesnt work with the seat all the way back. The instructions were not great but I managed to assemble it without having a meltdown. He still loves it but I do not. Really upset he is already too big for something weighted for 2 people equalling 130 lbs and age appropriate 3-8.

We have this to our kids for Christmas. So far so good, they love it and can operate everything. Out almost 3 year old cannot do the trick bed yet but I think he will be there in a few months. There are no rubber tracks on these tires which makes the wheels just spin on our sloping blacktop driveway. Seems ok on grass so far otherwise it works well.

My boys LOVE this!!! I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old and they can both ride in this, side by side. Very easy to use and understand. Seems well built and heavy duty! My 4 year old calls it his 4-wheeler. The only think I don't like-or that I would change-is that the wheels are kinda grooved, but totally slippery plastic. So, in the snow, the wheels just keep turning. It's probably not supposed to be going over rugged terrain, but my boys and I live on a farm, and this has been up to the barn countless times. And when it does get stuck, the boys just hop out, push it and drive on. The back dumps, but my boys don't really use it for more than hauling stuff around. The tailgate does not stay closed very well and is constantly popping open. But, I would still recommend this John Deere to anyone, for boys or girls! All I have to do is unplug it, take it off the porch and the boys go and go on this! Definitely recommend this...can't go wrong with a John Deere!

Was expecting more from the Peg Perigo brand. Plastic wheels, not 4x4. battery does not last a day. No sounds or buttons for the passenger. Not worth the price. As its only RWD, it gets stuck in medium thick grass and any side hills or bumps. Reverse does not stay engaged, the tots have to hold it down. Battery does not last a full day, maybe 2-3 hours of driving for a full night of recharging. Passenger has nothing to do, no buttons, sounds or anything. Plastic wheels have no grip on gravel or grass.

My granddaughter picked this out, to help grandpa around the yard this summer. We were so excited. First, it took my husband 4 hours to assemble. The tailgate is not secure and falls down randomly. There are no bells or whistles like horn, lights or music which I thought would be no big deal. My main complaint are the tires/traction. The tires spin in the grass almost constantly. She had a no-name jeep that she rode all over the yard, and up and down hills and rocks, but not this one! That’s a big disappointment since I paid double the price of the jeep for the “gator”. It does drive around the driveway area quickly. She likes pushing down the lever to reverse. I bought some peel %26 stick traction runners to try on the tires. I also saw one reviewer put large screws in the tires for traction. For the price, I wish the tires were sturdier/built to drive around the outdoors.

Was a Christmas present for the grandkids, my grandson loved it, he is 3 and tall for his age, so it fit him nicely, he was able to drive it without any problems, little sis along for the ride. It is a nice child’s toy . But in my opinion it is over priced and expensive for what you get, basically a plastic toy, no thrills bells or whistles, hope it holds up, but my grandson loved it , it made his Christmas.

Overall my son loves this ride on. The assembly was extremely difficult to follow and we had a missing piece. Not a fan of the charging compartment. You have to remove a screw each time you need to charge the battery. Took about 2 1/2 hours to fully assemble.
