This is so unfortunate. We ordered this for Christmas. We were halfway through building it late on Christmas Eve when we realized one of the pieces was broken off (the part that connects the bed to the chassis). Had a fun time explaining that to the kids (Blip the elf knocked it off the sleigh). Ordered a second one on Christmas Day and was told it would arrive in 2 weeks. It arrived Dec 26th (yay Walmart!). Frustratingly it was also broken: SAME PART! The first vehicle had the clip broken clear off. This one was attached, but there was a huge crack from top to bottom of the chassis. Ordered a third—the final attempt before we look for a different option. It arrived Dec 28th and was in one piece. The Gator is not packaged well enough. I’m assuming when moved in the factory or warehouse or in delivery people are putting the box down corner first, probably roughly, and because of the lack of packaging the plastic chassis is smacking off the plastic wheels at the base of the box, causing a fracture in the plastic. The problem lies ultimate with peg perego for the packaging. But the damage could have been caused any number of places along the supply chain, from warehouse to store, or by any of the moving/transporting/delivery people along the way. Solid usa built vehicle Add an hour to assembly time for adding stickers. Battery takes 18 hours to charge 1st time so plan accordingly. Wish walmart disclosed additional free 2 yr warranty that comes inside the pakage, Wouldn't have purchased walmarts' Shipping worth the cost as the box is almost 4 feet tall. Would only fit in a pickup truck

So cute! Bought this for our 3 year old grandson for Christmas. He hasn't figured out how to push the throttle but it won't be long. For elderly grandparents it was a bit of a challenge to put it together, but we persevered and got it done. The smile on his face was worth the effort.

I bought this item for my son who just turned 6 years old. I bought this item because it looked great and it said it was for children of 4-8 years old while others were for younger children. The item has met my expectation and my son and daughter (who is 4.5) both love it! However, I do not believe an 8 year old could sit comfortably in this truck. As I said, my son just turned 6, and he is probably on the tall side for his age, but he just fits with his legs with the seat pushed all the way back. If you are buying for someone older be aware it may be a tight fit. But overall very pleased with this purchase.

The directions for assembly were terrible and difficult to follow. The Jeep does not do well in grass as advertised. Our grandson is 3 and the seat is almost as far back as it will go. I do not believe there are many 6 year olds that could fit into this Toy unless they are very small. Again I think the size is a little over advertised. I think this is a good toy but probably overpriced.

Took out of box, assembly complete. Grand kids can't wait..,,battery charged. Lets go...,not so fast it. Wait its not going at all. The low gear doesn't work, reverse doesn't work. Rabbit gear works. But paid for more than 1 gear. So gonna attempt to return to Walmart.

Good value and met our expectations. It's a little small for the advertised age as my just turned 7 year old barely fits in it and our 5.5 year old is tight to fit in it. I also would have liked to have seen a NiMh Battery as opposed to the NiCad Battery.

We love it!! My 3 year old collects sticks from the back yard and drives through trails hes obsessed it gets great use. We don’t use the dumper part much bc its above his level. Improvements : Installation was about 3-4 hours by myself I struggled with a part near the back wheels , I needed a hammer , it was easily resolved after watching youtube videos. The only other concern was last week the battery didn’t charge to green, it stayed yellow , i was worried because its so new , however we used it and then charged it and its gone green again. We always take it off the charger as soon as it turns green :)

I purchased this on line from my local Walmart. They were very helpful in loading this into my car. It is an excellent electric toy (vehicle). It didn't require an outrageous amount of time to assemble. The directions were clear and it had pictures. My grandson is thrilled with this gator. He can have a friend ride with him and carry his stuff in the back.....

Overall my son loves this ride on. The assembly was extremely difficult to follow and we had a missing piece. Not a fan of the charging compartment. You have to remove a screw each time you need to charge the battery. Took about 2 1/2 hours to fully assemble.
