It's basically a meal replacement, preferably breakfast. I had chocolate and it tasted amazing!! The texture is great and doesn't give that chalky after taste as others leave.

A lot of the times these types of drinks have a bad after taste and aren’t that filling but this one stands out as far superior! I love it and I suggest you give it a try. Well worth it. Tasted like skim chocolate milk and doesn’t upset the stomach. The texture is light . I would recommend this to anyone trying to get more protein and collagen into their daily diet !

I wanted to taste the flavor without incorporating it into something else. It does taste like chocolate. I dont taste any bad after taste. There is 30 grams of protein and 10 grams of collagen.

At first the flavor was tolerable but only half way through, I had to stop and give the rest to my husband. He chugged the rest but had an even worse reaction to the flavor than I did. He considered it to be chalky, I was more put off by the taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vital proteins collagen protein shake wasn’t bad! More of a watery texture vs thick and creamy. It has a very rich chocolate flavor. No gross aftertaste nor chalkiness to it. No bovine/cow flavor to anyone that may be concerned about that. Very low fat, low carb, and zero sugar. Extremely high protein for such a little drink. This would be handy to have on hand when you haven’t met your daily protein requirements and don’t feel like cooking a meal. I removed one star because it contains sunflower oil and I don’t like to consume any seed oils. For this reason I would be hesitant to purchase in the future.

I’m very happy with the 30 grams of protein, the ingredient list being clean, and the added supplements within the drink. Over all I will search for better but I’m not mad at this drink, doubt I’d buy it tho
