[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this collagen protein chocolate shake complimentary from Influenster for my honest review. I was actually surprised with the taste. Most protein shakes are thick and too powdered for me. This was rich, smooth and sweet. It tasted similar to a milkshake and was easy to swallow. I would mix this with berries next time and really do the morning shake expierence. I would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vital proteins collagen protein shake wasn’t bad! More of a watery texture vs thick and creamy. It has a very rich chocolate flavor. No gross aftertaste nor chalkiness to it. No bovine/cow flavor to anyone that may be concerned about that. Very low fat, low carb, and zero sugar. Extremely high protein for such a little drink. This would be handy to have on hand when you haven’t met your daily protein requirements and don’t feel like cooking a meal. I removed one star because it contains sunflower oil and I don’t like to consume any seed oils. For this reason I would be hesitant to purchase in the future.

I've always loved this brand so I thought I'd give it a try especially since it has added collagen. At first the size seemed a bit small but surprisingly I felt pretty full which lasted a good few hours. I love chocolate so of course that's the flavor I picked but if you like your protein drinks fairly sweet then these might not be sweet enough. I did notice as I was drinking it that it's definitely something I could get used to or add a little Cocoa to make it sweeter but I love the 30 grams of protein that it has along with all the other good ingredients.

Also, it is very convenient for on the go as it’s individually packaged and all you have to do is shake well. My disappointment was in the taste, personally I like a little more chocolaty flavor and thicker texture and I felt this shake was lacking that. It’s not a bad product, just not my first choice.

I was only sent one so I don’t think that was enough to tell if it was effective as far as collagen goes. It was a decent size and the packaging was nice. I did not like the consistency of it, it seemed a little gritty even after shaking it up. Overall it was a pretty decent drink.
