Ok, so compared to the other scents I've ordered this isn't my top pick. (For reference, I also own Woody Tobacco and Woody Chestnut and I adore those!) It's mainly because I was expecting this to be more woody and maybe smoky? But it isn't. I smell more of the violet leaves (I think?) and because of that, it lingers on being a strange floral instead of a deeper, complex fragrance. But I'll let it sit for a while and macerate as another reviewer suggested, I know that can work wonders on perfume. Otherwise, I may try layering this with a more woodsy sweet fragrance and see how I enjoy it.

Bought this for my boyfriend because he loved Santal 33 but its far too expensive for either of our budgets. This smells exactly like 33. He absolutely loves it and I love being around him when he wears it. He gets a lot of compliments on this. Ive told a few of my friends about Dossier and they have all already bought something! Id recommend this to anyone.

This was a blind buy after reading great reviews. I tried to branch out into more unisex scents, but this was a miss for me. It read too masculine, very leather-forward. Honestly made me think of a shoe store. Will say it does have great staying power.

I've been really excited to try this one. Santal 33 is a signature fragrance of mine and I have heard good things about Woody Sandalwood. When I first spray this fragrance, it immediately opens with violet, orris, and ambrox. The ambrox isn't overpowering and it lingers pleasantly in the background. I'm instantly reminded of Santal 33. But there is a difference in the top notes. It smells a bit heavier on the florals which gives it a honeyed sweetness, but not gourmand. Within a few minutes, this fades to the familiar woody, musky dry down which the inspired fragrance is famous for. The base notes of sandalwood mix together to give it a dry straw or hay smell which plays remarkably well with the coziness of the musk. Perhaps a little less smokey than the original but it's very subtle. Overall, I'm impressed and happy with this. On my skin, I would have to concentrate very hard to distinguish this from Santal 33. I would certainly consider another bottle of woody sandalwood.

This scent smells absolutely disgusting. I tried to convince myself to like it because it was an exchange and I cant return it, but my family refused to let me leave the house with it on. It smells like dirt, and nothing like Santal 33. This is my second purchase from you and the second purchase I was unhappy with. They smell nothing like the name brands they claim to be dupes for, and I am done doing business with you. This scent especially is really really bad. I cant even regift it because it literally reaks. I wouldnt give this to anyone I remotely liked.

It took me a few days to really start enjoying this scent, it is an acquired/unique one. You'll either love it or be quite put off by it. It is a strong scent at first, but I like the way it lasts and dissipates over time. Personally, I like it for the sake of smelling it on myself rather than for others to smell it on me.

Im on my 3rd bottle! I really love the original and would use it sparingly due to how expensive it is! Then I found Dossiers Woody Sandalwood. I was not disappointed!! Its a perfect match! I still get so many compliments, no one can tell the difference!

I like to consider myself Bougie on a budget in the sense that I like nice things but not always the price tag. This fragrance just smells expensive and yet its so affordable. If youve been wanting the Le Labo Santal 33 but cant justify the price tag than this perfume is for you. Its such a classic and the scent lingers all day without reapplying!

Woody, dry, warm and much like the scent you would expect of someone who has been seated in meditation in the sunshine on the edge of the woods. Definitely unisex, definitely unique and incredibly calming. Easy to wear and garners compliments. Pair with a sweeter scent if you want to give the sweeter scent some base notes. Would also be quite wonderful with a more vanilla based scent.

This smells so yummy and exactly like the original. The only small complaint I have is that the staying power isnt quite as good as the original. Since this purchase Ive purchased four other scents. Im very impressed with the overall quality other the product.
