I discovered Dossier because a coworker was wearing this scent. The entire work area smelled amazing. So I ordered it hoping I could wear it as well as she did. Woody Sandalwood did not disappoint. I love it! The scent lasts all day on me. A little goes a long way. Looking forward to trying others!!

This scent smells absolutely disgusting. I tried to convince myself to like it because it was an exchange and I cant return it, but my family refused to let me leave the house with it on. It smells like dirt, and nothing like Santal 33. This is my second purchase from you and the second purchase I was unhappy with. They smell nothing like the name brands they claim to be dupes for, and I am done doing business with you. This scent especially is really really bad. I cant even regift it because it literally reaks. I wouldnt give this to anyone I remotely liked.

This scent really surprised me. At first I didnt think I liked it but after smelling it again on my arm... man! It smells amazing. Im also not one of those pretentious ppl who think they can pick up underlying tones in scents or wine... but, hear me out, it has a peppery smell to it. It was the first thing I noticed then I read the card and saw Cardamom was in the top notes. You. can really smell it and I loved it. Loved the packaging too. Idk why but everything that comes in little boxes just make me happy

I understand now what the high cost is for. It's light and airy when you 1st spray it, a smell I can not identify with. Pleasantly smelling and dries down very nice. The longevity is more than 12 hours. I work 12 hours shifts and I can still smell it even after going home. I've gotten compliments with my patients that I smell like someone who just came out of of a good shower. Not overpowering. Definitely UNISEX. YOU can use it Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring.. I simply love it.

This one is an absolute skip for me I didnt like it at all from start to finish it was absolutely horrible didnt smell like cedar wood or sandalwood at all it smelled more like musk and because it has amber it makes it smell like a light musky smell which I did not like.

I got this scent based on reviews and because I wanted to switch up my collection. I tend to like gourmand scents and this is the exact opposite. This smells fresh and woodsy. It comes off a little strong on first spray, but I will say it dries down beautifully. I do wish it had a little vanilla or something to help smooth it out. However, I've layered it with Floriental Vanilla or Ambery Saffron and they both pair well.

I am a person who is skeptical when it comes to ordering parfumes online. I have heard this brand so many times but I was keep postponing. I am so glad you guys opened the first store in New York. Now I am visiting every two weeks. Santal wood is one of my favorites. I lost my mind when I smell it. I still cant believe how affordable and reliable all the parfumes are.

Fabulous scent! There's just the right amount of sweetness. And something about the scents that start with the word "woody" that get me every time. Smells great when paired with Ambery Saffron. Thanks, Dossier, for the spot on pairing recommendations.

If you don't expect Le Labo Santal 33, then you'll be happy. Compared to the original by Le Labo, Dossier's Woody Sandalwood is missing some of the warm creamy notes that take off the edge, and the opening notes of Woody Sandalwood might be too sharp for some people. That said, my husband enjoys it and contends that it is still evident on his skin when he wakes in the morning. With a concentration of 25%, Dossier's Woody Sandalwood doesn't dissipate into nothingness, and in my opinion, the dry down and the heart notes are more alluring than the opening. For some people expecting Le Labo Santal 33, this fragrance might be a disappointment, but otherwise, it stands on its own as a sandalwood and cedar fragrance (and yes, there's cedar, and at times, the cedar might recall your grandmother's blanket chest, but relax, that, too, passes...). Altogether, it's fine, but the higher Dossier price might feel unnecessary to some.

Ordered this to try between my wife and I. We both love the scent, cant compare it to Santal 33 but the scent is incredible. The scent is very complex and almost changes subtly throughout the day. I think it leans more masculine as its not as fresh/fruity as Maison Louis.
