Oof. This one was not great. I wanted so much to like it and, in theory, it has a lot of notes I typically go for in a perfume, but every time I'd spray it (either on me or a swatch card), I'd get heavy notes of barn/hay. The dry-down scent was pretty (days later on a swatch), but I couldn't stomach it enough to wear it. I don't think this is the fault of Dossier, but the fragrance is definitely not for me.

If you're looking for an every day, deep, woody, lovely scent, this is the one for you. For reference, my personal taste lies with true unisex fragrances. Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanilla and Mugler's Alien Goddess are among my favorites, behind Woody Sandalwood. There's something magical about this scent that's hard to describe. It's not woody in the sense that you'll walk around smelling like a Christmas tree by any means, but it has a lovely complexity to it. I imagine this is what an enchanted forest would smell like. I've gotten more compliments when I wear this than any other perfume. I wouldn't say it has a strong projection. You're not going to fill a hallway with the scent, but I notice the most compliments come from people who are closer to me, like my hair dresser, friends, and my patients. It layers beautifully with everything I've paired it with, stands on it's own as my daily fragrance, and lasts all day. Recommend to anyone who want to smell warm, woody, and magical.

I was curious about Santal 33 but its hefty price tag left me apprehensive but I still really wanted to try it. And one fateful day a YouTuber I subscribe to was doing an unboxing on her channel comparing Santal 33 to Woody Sandalwood. She is someone whose content I enjoy and find trustworthy so I decided to buy Woody Sandalwood. The pros: The smell is intoxicating. Decent amount of product for the price. I LOVE the bottle and the magnetic top. Cons: It didn't last as long as I wished it had. I have cheaper & costlier cologne that lasts longer. And it could be a touch more potent. I still may buy Santal 33 but not before I try the Dossier version of Baccarat Rouge 540.

This is the first fragrance that brought me to Dossier. And I must say I am very satisfied. This fragrance is wonderful from the first spray to hours later. It's a very warm, comforting scent, pure sandalwood, combined with other notes that enhance the sandalwood beautifully. It lasts for 10 to 12 hours, and I feel like it smells better the longer you wear it.

Unbelievably authentic..... exact same fragrance as the real thing! I have both and will NEVER EVER pay for the real version. This smells better and even lasts longer. Friends and family cant even believe it! Im so happy with this bc I am a perfume addict! I have shared this with so many people bc I never want Dossier to go out of business. Made with all high quality ingredients. No reason to ever pay $$$ when you have this.

I love the smell. It very much resembles the scent of the Le Labo Santal 33. However, I only gave it a rating of 3 stars because it doesn't last any where near the time frame that Le Labo Santal 33 does. I would catch the LLS33 scent on myself frequently throughout the entire day. With the Woody Sandal Wood Dossier perfume it lasts a couple of hours at best. Given the price point I would expect this to be the expectation. I appreciate the price point greatly! I love the smell, I just wish that it lasted longer. A perfume that smells like this one does is desired to be smelled all day long, every hour.

Ive purchased this fragrance twice already. Just returned to place another order and was unpleasantly surprised about the fact that my card has been charged for months. Just like other customers I was automatically enrolled for a membership program without knowing. Too bad because I wouldve been a loyal customer and was planning to get a few scents anyway. But I dont want someone to decide for me how much and how often Id like to spend on perfume.

This has got to be my most favorite purchased scent yet! The unique blend of ingredients creates a festive fall/winter vibe. Personally, Le Labo's version was a bit too strong for me but I think this version is perfect for a warm, casual day! Thank you so much, Dossier

I had no idea I like santal. This is my 1st santal love. Its soft woody, a little floral, a little incensey. Very clean and sensual. I feel very calm and put together when I wear this scent. Lasts very long on my skin, but it's so soft. I like it best when I catch wiffs of it in the breeze.

I purchased the scent inspired by Le Labo. First spray you.smell alcohol. the scent after it dies down is faint so you may need to spray a lot. However by the time you get to your destination the smell is GONE. Im returning mine...I need something that arrives after you but strong enough to get a reaction. This disappoints in that regard
