After using Le Labo since 2019, Ive looked for some cheaper dupes. This one smells nice on its own, and you can tell it was ~inspired~ by Santal 33, but it is not identical. Its more woody. Its missing some of the softness and sweetness of Le Labo. Hoping a little tweaking can get it there. On a positive note, Dossier has the nicest, high-quality feeling packaging of any of the other dupe brands Ive tried (at least 4?).

I love woody sandalwood. It isnt as strong as Santal33 and has no sillage, but its a perfect dupe. People stop me all the time to ask what Im wearing. I cant smell it on myself, but its there. Santal33 is much more decadent and with that comes that perfume headache. Santal also has a stronger dill smell that I dont notice with dossier. I think I like dossier better and its 70% less expensive.

I ordered three unisex scents -- Woody Sandalwood, Ambery Saffron and Woody Sage. I've been searching for a perfume with santal in it, so I thought Woody Sandalwood would be my favorite. Unfortunately the alcohol smell was so overpowering that I had to send it back. It smelled like a bottle of liquor had broken in my bathroom. I LOVED Woody Sage, though, so if you're looking for a good unisex scent, I'd recommend that one over this one.

Was so excited to try this perfume from all the hype it got on tiktok. I usually love warm sexy scents and this perfume just smells okay imo. It smells better after it sets for awhile but I still dont love it especially with the upped price. It has a spearmint smell to it that Im not a fan of will be sending back.

I was put on to Dossier by someone who got this scent and loved it. I saw the description and how it was a "bestseller" on the website and figured I'd enjoy it too, even though I've never smelled the original. I figured totally wrong. Even before I sprayed it, I could smell it and it did NOT appeal to me. But I gave it a try to test it out on my skin and sadly, it was a big mistake. The smell was soooo overpowering. I usually go for subtly woodsy/earthy smells but this scent just made me nauseous. Odd, but this is a perfume I'd imagine a grandmother in the 70s would wear that has an orange couch covered in plastic in their home. This was not for me. I'll be returning to try something else.

I don't know anything about Santal 33, but I have loved the smell of sandalwood most of, if not all of my half-century+ life! This scent is superb! It's giving the one of the most quality sandalwoods I have experienced in a fragrance! And last so long, throughout the day, and on clothes, I almost felt guilty for ordering another bottle, before I even made a significant dent in the 1st... And the response, magnific! Get it!... Before I run out...

I have never smelled the original, however, many people say it smells very similar based off reviews Ive seen. Ive also seen several people say this is a niche fragrance and I can see why. I can see people either loving this or hating this, but I love it! I can definitely smell the sandalwood, and it gives off a spicy Woody vibe. If you like fragrances like this, I would give it a try. This leans were masculine, but I definitely think women can pull this off. This is perfect for a date night in the fall and winter.

1st of all, my husband doesnt even wear cologne and repeated that he does not like unisex scents. However, when this arrived, he fell in love with it and couldnt understand how it was unisex since it was manlier than expected. Hes now wearing scents! Thank you Dossier!!!

I always wanted santal 33 but Im so glad I found this dupe instead. I dont have any other perfumes that smell like this and it definitely leans a bit more masculine than what I typically wear but it just smells so good and lasts forever. I also love layering this with coconut scents to get a beachy vibe.

This smells so good! I have the original Santall 33 fragrance and I reach for Dossier version more. Everytime I wear this fragrance I get stopped and Miss what do you have on. I mean everytime. I'm a perfume perfectionist and if it not right I'm not wearing it. I'm known for my fragrance.
