I was hoping the sandalwood wood stand out more. But, This smells terrible. I was nauseous after one spray and it gave me a headache. I tried it on paper first and on myself the next day. I had to wash it off since it stuck on me and my clothes. I am glad I can return it!

This is my bread and butter, my go to, when people think of me, I want them to think of this scent. Its very masculine, which I think makes the women wearing it very sexy and confident. It's an unusual scent that will turn heads, but absolutely my favorite.

I love Woody Sandalwood. It's my favorite. The scent is just wonderful from the top notes to the base notes. I've had so many compliments on this scent. Next order will be this scent in a larger bottle. I wear it everyday too. It's so nice. The scent is not overwhelming. It's just nice. I love it so much.

Its not bad, the smell is long lasting. I personally dont like citrus smells and thats what it gave off but I gave it to someone who liked it more, they got lots of compliments on it but its just not MY piece of cake but if u love citrus they buy it.

Smells good on the clothes or linens but does not mix with my natural chemistry. On the skin, it Starts off as cedar trees. Dries down to pickles. And then stays at bug spray. 2 stars because shipping was fast and a pleasant scent (the scent the perfume is supposed to be) lingers on clothes even after washing.

The pickle smell goes away after a few minutes, but it really does smell like a dill pickle. I'm giving it more stars because it actually does last all day on my clothes. Lasts about half the day on my skin. Pretty impressive. Doesn't really remind me of S33. Maybe just vaguely.

I have a sensitive schnoz. Most perfumes and colognes are pungent, loud, smell too strongly of alcohol to get past it. This scent is perfection. Warm, woody, and wraps you in a hug thats reminiscent of essential oils without the slick feeling. Seriously. Buy this. Youll want to spritz it on your naked body, on your sheets, in your car. It took me 37 years to find my scent and its this! Thanks, Dossier!

First of all, this was a blind buy. The first sniff was awful. Well, I've allowed this fragrance to sit. I had hoped that it would smell better once it was allowed to masscerate. This still smells like hot dill pickle. Sadly, I've recently smelled Le Labo's Santal 33. It smells horrible...to me. Dossier did get the scent correctly, its just the scent this fragrance was inspired by smells awful (unless you like smelling like hot dill pickle).All other scents I received were amazing!

Ordered this several months ago and thought I HATED it. Got the pickle jar smell many people talk about. It gave me a headache. The dry-down smelled awful on my skin. I'm generally lazy about returning things, and it wasn't a huge dent in my wallet anyway, so I just figured I'd gotten a personal dud. I had it set aside to donate...and then read some things online about letting perfumes sit for a few months or weeks after spraying a bit to give them time to settle. [Side note: there is mixed information about how effective that is (or whether it does anything at all), but I will say it made a difference with this one.] I tried it today, almost nine months after I received it...and all of the lovely smells other people have described are coming through for me, with none of the unpleasantness. There is still a faint pickley note, but it has calmed down considerably, and I'm getting a lot more complexity on the dry down. If I understand correctly, the volume of orders from a place like Dossier means that the perfume you receive may have been mixed just before sending (so they may not have time to settle), and weather conditions on the journey can have an effect. So can time of year. So I guess... if you think you dislike something from Dossier but everything else is heavenly, AND you're lazy about returns like me, stick it in a dark drawer for half a year and try again. It's possible you still won't like it. But you might be pleasantly surprised. Other perfumes I noticed changing over time (for the better) from my Dossier orders: Ambery Saffron and Gourmand Patchouli.
