I bought this because I like Jo Malone Sea Salt and Sage or Woody Sage. I read the description and saw the price tag and I had to buy. A female could wear this but I feel it is kind of manly. So I would label it a niche female fragrance. I sprayed as soon as I opened the box. Very upfront sandalwood dry smell. The smell was....very dry maybe tart sandalwood cedarwood. The projection was strong and lasting. For a man this cologne would smell nice but I would need it to be softened up with something... I just don't know what, cinnamon, vanilla. I am going to use my sample a few more times to see if my opinion changes. I would love to see how it smells on a man and I would like to go out in public with this scent on to see if it gets noticed. If my opinion stays the same I will try and return.

Love this scent. After spraying within 10mins it smells just like Santal 33! You can't judge any scent by the first spray and you need to spray it on yourself to see how it works with your body chemistry. This scent changes from the opening notes to the middle notes (heart) of the scent fairly quickly. As the day goes on the scent gets better & better. The dry down ( last notes) are incredible as well. Long lasting I get many compliments on all my dossier scents especially this one.

Smells almost exactly like the original. I honestly like this even better because the difference I noticed a lack of initial sharpness that I didnt love in the original. Now I get a smoother start and the same amazing dry down of the original without the cost.

Bought this for my boyfriend because he loved Santal 33 but its far too expensive for either of our budgets. This smells exactly like 33. He absolutely loves it and I love being around him when he wears it. He gets a lot of compliments on this. Ive told a few of my friends about Dossier and they have all already bought something! Id recommend this to anyone.

This scent is hard to describe. The best way I can put it is it smells somewhere in between pee and musk. I mean it is very musky and I didnt like it one bit. I smelled Le Labo one a waitress once and thought I was getting the light, clean scent she was wearing but this couldnt have been it. She actually told me about Dossier bc this is where she ordered it from, but I believe it may be a different name. Hopefully Ill find it bc she smelled soooo good!

....and I just let them think that! Smells just like the real thing, and since it is at such a better price, I can spritz as much as I wish. If I had spend hundreds on a perfume I'd be too scared to even use it! Thank you Dossier for making me smell like a million bucks.

I do not like this scent. It smells like coconut and a sour diaper. I was extremely disappointed. I smelled this after I purchased it at my job and immediately knew what it was. Whom ever was wearing it had so much it on it was making me gag. I am glad to see that it can be returned. Shao

Ive never owned a le labo perfume and seeing this I took a gamble and purchased it. I am in love with this scent. It is very unique and nothing else smells like it. The earthy woody notes is perfect for the fall/winter weather. I would purchase this again

I purchased this scent for myself after it was recommended on the online quiz. Smells like an upscale furniture store (must be the sandalwood) I was able to smell the original Le Labo scent a few days before this arrived. It's very similar, but the opening notes smell dryer and less of the "dill pickle" note. It's a captivating scent that will grow on you. One to two sprays are sufficient and last most of the day. I would recommend for Fall and Winter.

The top is virtually indistinguishable from the Le Labo but as it mellows it diverges from the deep woods of Santal and holds a tea party in a green meadow with white flowers. Thus it lacks the dark depth of Santal but the tea party is delicious if all too brief. Im going to layer it with Molecule #1 to give it a boost and some staying power.
