When i got this i thought it smelled a bit masculine so i let my BF try it on and he liked it. After smelling it on him i tried it on myself and it smells completely different and i love it! I've gotten so many compliments since i started wearing it. Definitely recommend.

This is one of the perfumes that my partner and I both own because it works on both of us! It definitely lives up to the woody part and those who arent into that should steer clear. I love the warmth and the spice from the cardamom note in the middle and amber in the base. This is a winner for me.

ive never smelled the original le labo fragrance but wow this scent is great and i cant wait for fall to wear this!! its warm, spicy and woody and honestly unlike anything ive smelled before. sometimes complicated fragrances are too much but this is complex with layers that are alluring to discover. it smells decadent & comforting & just GOOD

I have never smelled LL33 unfortunately so I cant compare. But it definitely smells like a niche scent, very focused on a specific chord. I think it performs very well, going from fresh cut woods to creamy sandalwood. The first couple of minutes are strange to me but the rest Ive grown to like quite a bit. Now if only I had a coffee and cream solonote to layer, it would put me right back to my teen years helping my dad in his workshop, cups of coffee everywhere.

I ordered 2 bottles of this perfume on March 3 because of the reviews; however, I just can't stand the smell. I even mixed it with Ambery Saffron, but I can't seem to like the combination, let alone by itself. It's not my scent at all. But I love the smell of Ambery Saffron!

I purchased this cause the description sounded like something I may like but unfortunately this one I will have to send back. I wouldn't classify this as a unisex personally I'd say it would be more fitting as a masculine scent. The musk is very overpowering, the woody smell is very strong and I'm not fond of the combination of notes in this one. I can't say how it compares to the original since I've never smelled it before. I can definitely see how someone may have an acquired taste for this one, but if you're looking for something less on the masculine side I would not go with this one.

I bought this perfume/cologne on a whim last week after reading a ton of review and watching YouTube videos. Dossier popped up on my Facebook Timeline and the rest is history. I bought this for my boyfriend and when I tell you....he smells amazing! Have mercy!!! This smell lasts all day on him and I love to smell his with this scent on. I just order another for myself....

I really wanted to like this scent, but it was just way too strong for me and I will be returning. I sprayed it one time and that little bit was overpowering. Intense, strong perfumes give me sinus headaches so maybe I am overly sensitive. I will say that if you like this one, the scent really does last a long time.

More fruity at first application than I expected, almost a pear-like scent, but mellows out to a woodier aroma after time. I would definitely say it is more on the feminine side of unisex. Dont know if I would buy it again personally, but would definitely try some of dossiers other scents. I think it could be a great fit for some people.

However, I wanted to wait a few days before writing a review. I find that the initial scent is exact to Santal 33, but the smell fades as quickly as if this were an eau de toilette. Maison Lous Marie also has a dupe. It is not the same initial notes that this one has, but the perfume lasts as long as the original Santal 33 and is similar enough to fool anyone. Unfortunately, Le Labo is on a backorder for everything Santal, so I am going to keep this bottle until further notice.
