I bought this because I like Jo Malone Sea Salt and Sage or Woody Sage. I read the description and saw the price tag and I had to buy. A female could wear this but I feel it is kind of manly. So I would label it a niche female fragrance. I sprayed as soon as I opened the box. Very upfront sandalwood dry smell. The smell was....very dry maybe tart sandalwood cedarwood. The projection was strong and lasting. For a man this cologne would smell nice but I would need it to be softened up with something... I just don't know what, cinnamon, vanilla. I am going to use my sample a few more times to see if my opinion changes. I would love to see how it smells on a man and I would like to go out in public with this scent on to see if it gets noticed. If my opinion stays the same I will try and return.

ive never smelled the original le labo fragrance but wow this scent is great and i cant wait for fall to wear this!! its warm, spicy and woody and honestly unlike anything ive smelled before. sometimes complicated fragrances are too much but this is complex with layers that are alluring to discover. it smells decadent & comforting & just GOOD

Oh my ! This is such a romantic clean scent . I got so many compliments at work when I walked into the room I had people asking what I was wearing . I had a coworker instantly go to her phone to look this up ! It's feminine and the scent lasted a whole entire 8 hour shift on my skin . It's flirty yet strong . Love love love my new scent daily wear.

I've had this perfume for months now and I knew I would like it because I love Santal 33. IT SMELLED GREAT at first but after a couple months the fragrance changes. I know this can happen if the bottle is left in heat or maybe the sun. I never did this. My bottle has stayed in a AC'd room since I purchased it and has never left my house. It smells nothing like its original scent now. I want to reorder it because I love the original scent but I dont want it to change again after just a few months.

perfection. loved the original in the store. saw dossier on tik tik and decided to try my 4 all time favorite scents. to purchase 4 scents for less than the cost of ONE of my favorites is crazy. so far, i have only used the amber saffron and cannot be happier. more compliments, lasts all day and is not overpowering! one down and three to go ...

I have DREAMED of finding a signature scent for years. To me, it's the peak of fanciness. I get bad headaches from most, especially sweet scents, but this one is magic. Does it smell like the real deal? Beats me, I could never afford, but does it smell fantastic? Absolutely. If you've never smelled it before, it's a great mix of a heavier (sweet?) smell and musky earth. It's so unique from others that I've smelled. It's not sharp, but more... thick? A beautiful bridge between feminine and masculine. But in a good way! I'm a classic hippy gal and never been one for scents but this fits me so perfectly. I will say, the mom I nanny asked if it was an essential oil which made me want to jump off a bridge (because ew, sorry essential oil folks but that time is over), but my husband and I absolutely love it! Really recommend if you are an enneagram 4 and value uniqueness over everything else. All I need is one to two spritz in the morning and it lasts all day long, and even then it still lingers on my clothes. If you are new to perfumes, I really recommend this one! Expect the unexpected with this one, but 100% take the leap!

So far I am liking this scent. I don't know if I would describe it as a woody scent. It has a slight sweet scent to it, which I think can be ascribed to the top note, violet leaves. When I first sprayed it, I thought it was going to be to be too feminine, but as I wear it I feel that it becomes more neutral. Overall, I think this fragrance smells warm, comforting, and natural. If you're a guy, and you're not looking for something that is overtly masculine, you can definitely wear this and feel manly still.

I'll be honest I never tried the original so I don't know what it's supposed to smell like but the notes and reviews all seemed so good, I had to give it a try! I mean what could go wrong with a blind buy lol . Unfortunately it was a no for me. The notes are quite strong and after awhile gave me a slight headache. On initial spray it did have a very strong alcohol front but by the time it dried down it left a strong musk scent. Even after washing with soap the scent lingered on the body. It's one of those "if it's not you, then it's not for you" kind of scents.

This stuff smells AMAZING. I was a little skeptical at first but when I tried the little sample bottle, it blew my mind with how similar it was to the le labo santal 33. I almost like the after smell of this one more. It wears long, and i get so many compliments from it. Im excited to try more scents this company offers if this is the quality of all of them.

Even though the price is great, I was hesitant to purchase and have it not smell like the real Santal 33. Soo glad I did buy it. It's perfect, smells just like it. I've gotten so many compliments and the scent lasts so long. Can't wait to purchase more of my favorites!
