not enough sauce and cheese

The calzones were very doughy and not filled with much. We only ate 2 of them & threw the other 2 out. Will not buy them again,

The same tasteless crust used in their deli pizzas, only in a smaller format. Both oven and air fryer directions are offered, but frankly, neither method will give you anything other than a hard cracker-like shell. Cooking to an internal temperature of 165°F will guarantee a crust that defies cutting and biting. Even coating with a good olive oil before cooking didn't make a difference. There are only two redeeming ingredients. The green chiles in the cheese sauce and the marinara sauce. If it weren't for them, these would get a zero star rating.

I cooked the first one in the air fryer per the instructions (350° for 10-12 mins), and it burnt the crust to a crisp dark brown!! The second one, I cooked in the air fryer for only 5 minutes and the crust was perfect but the inside was still cold, so had to microwave it to get the insides hot which took away from the perfect crisp on the outside. I saw another commenter that said they microwave it first for about a minute and THEN air fry it for 4 minutes, which I think is brilliant. It's a decent little meal but i would only pay the clearance price i paid for them which was about $7-$10 vs spending $16. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend noting on the label that there are peppers inside for anyone who can't handle a tiny bit of spice (it's not spicy to me, but I used to manage a mexican restaurant and I learned just how sensitive some people's palletes are to even a mild salsa. Please fix the heating instructions and maybe add a little more cheese and sauce. the flavor was good for me.

Tried them about a month ago and they are pretty darn good. Calzones in a pizza restaurant are not cheap so this package of 4 is actually reasonable. My 15 year old grandson loves them and have become his go to favorite quick hunger fix. I average about 2 (4packs weekly)! I have found the best way to cook them is in the oven 425 Degrees pre-heated. I use a small sheet of tin foil to cup each one leaving the top opened. Place directly on middle oven rack for 15 minutes and they cook perfectly. Hot and bubbly inside crust is perfect. Well worth it and so much better than chips, candy and junk food! Sometimes when he comes home from swim he just wants 2 for dinner! I forgot to mention I am Italian and although my grandfather made the best Pizza and Calzones years ago in Brooklyn NY these are a good and quick substitute.

I had high hopes for these - especially being my grandkids were here a lot over the summer, but they're waaaaay too spicy! They were generously filled and very hearty. The marinara sauce on the side was good, but even my adult kids didn't like how spicy they were and they generally like foods spicy hot. I'm guessing it was the pepperoni causing it so I'd recommend these be made with a mild sausage/beef filling or a less spicy pepperoni. I definitely will NOT be buying them again. I do feel like they were a pretty good value with how generous the filling was and the quality of the crust.
