I bought this for myself a year ago and was obsessed. It smells exactly like Black Opium by YSL. Every time my friend comes over she goes straight to my bedroom and uses it. Fast forward to now, I just bought her a bottle for Christmas and it came extremely quick! She is so happy to have a bottle too!

this one isn't absolutely terrible. I don't feel, however, that vanilla is one of its topnotes. I think the Pepper and Liquorice and maybe even the cedarwood is taking over this fragrance. When I spray it and it lingers, I get "cheap scent" vibes. Not worth the price to me.

Initially, I was worried that the hype around the dupe would turn out to be all fake and not worth it. However, Ambery Vanilla is exactly like YSL's Black Opium! It even lasts long too, after coming home from school I can still smell it on me. I will for sure purchase this again! I hope in the future that a mini travel size perfume is available.

This is like a softer gourmand white flowers. I love gourmand white flowers too but its stronger than ambery vanilla...its more of an everyday scent imo. Gourmand white flowers is great for date night while the subtle softer ambery vanilla feels a bit more casual. Also pairs well with musky musk as do most scents I own.

I must admit, Im a repeat offender. I am obsessed with this brand, and many of their scents. Everything from the sheek bottle with the lid that magically seals the bottle, to the hypnotic, long lasting scents. Im a lifetime fan and not afraid to admit it.

I absolutely LOVE this perfume! I read so many reviews before ordering it, and it definitely did not disappoint. I get so many compliments any time I wear it! I do feel like I have to reapply a few times throughout the day because it starts strong but fades quicker than expected, but for the price you pay it is definitely a great purchase!

I have everybody fooled. I get compliments left and right.They honestly believe I'm wearing the actual designee perfume. When I'm out places I get compliments all the time asking what am I wearing.Co workers were asking where did I buy my perfume and bought some even.You'll love this stuff. I bought 5 different scents and loved them all.

It's a nice scent, but quite overrated. I find it more feminine and floral than black opium which is problematic for me as floral scents do not complement my natural scent. The price is good, however the scent does not last the whole day. Overall, it's not a bad purchase, but it just doesn't work for me.

Smells identical although this has an alcohol smell until it dries down, its also not as strong as the original. I was kind of bummed about the strength of he fragrance b/c I owned the original and it would last for days! but its worth it for the price! I got tired of spending 100+ on black opium

Over a year ago I purchased the dupe for Black Opium and I ended up not liking it, but I got a sample of the real thing recently and it was just divine. I decided to give Dossiers version another shot and its so good! Maybe the formula was changed or my sense of smell is different but its perfect!!!
