My purchase came in and I was so excited to test this one out, it starts of floraly and mysterious then the dry down is very warm with strong vanilla notes. It smells expensive and like a department store perfume. I havent smelled black opium in a long time but this one is worth every penny

This one was also way too musky for my skin. I thought it would be sweet and warm smelling but it was so gross to me a washed it off and wont wear it again. Which is weird because normally love everything with vanilla in it. I am asking for a refund.

I really love this perfume, but had to dock one star for the staying power. I lose the scent by midday if it's not on my clothes. This is perfect for daily use for me - I love warm scents and this checks all the boxes for me without being too sweet or cloying.

I wanted to start my perfume collection but didn't know what to get. I watched a lot of reviews on perfumes and cost and I can say after getting my perfumes from dossier for a great price I am able to build my collection and smell amazing. I love all my scents they all smell great.

Firstly the scent came in a different color as advertised, its clear. And im a blind buyer. So this scent is definitely more grown up, definitely for someone who is wise and has a lot to offer. This scent is more floral than I expected, i was expected a gourmand type of vanilla and was surprised by the spicy-ness and floral scents i got from it. I dont want to say this is for a grandmother but ive smelled something similar on her before lol. I enjoy women scents as a guy myself so thats not the issue. The scent is like a rich successful women, very attractive, very assertive, and very mature. And im not sure as a 19 year old guy i can pull that off. HahaAs of the scent it self. Its very strong. The fragrance is very warm and would stand out beautifully in the winter. It kinda smells like a sweet flower. I dont get vanilla from this. I for sure smell the amber, the orange, mandarin, pear and liquorice. They should change the name back to floriental though.

I sprayed on myself and a shirt wore to dinner one evening and put it back on the next morning, all day that day, I could still smell it. It's not flowery as to give me a headache. I'm very picky and wear very little perfume, but this, I will be wearing!

I have bought Ambery Vanilla twice, and I will continue to be loyal to it! I get compliments every time I wear it, and everyone always thinks its YSL Black Opium. I immediately tell them it's from Dossier and send them to the site, my entire department is hooked on these dupes!

I was hesitant on trying ambery vanilla only because I wasnt too much of a fan of YSL Black Opium but this is such a better version of it. I love vanilla scents and its not as spicy as Black Opium. At first you get vanilla but the jasmine layer comes out and compliments it perfectly. Dossier scents usually last pretty long and I always get compliments when I wear them! This is definitely in my top 3 perfumes!

I have never tried the YSL black opium but I know this scent isn't for me. The pink pepper hits your nose immediately at first spritz and then it dries to a licorice scent that I don't quite enjoy. There's something smoky in the base note that makes this scent alluring but not something I would like to wear. Disappointing for me but not because the fragrance doesn't perform just that it is not my cup of tea.

I love the scent I spray all my perfumes on my clothes. Because when you move thats when people smell it the most. It did last and I did get compliments on it. But it definitely isnt the color shown its waaaayyyy lighter but isnt entirely clear. Its a vanilla scent it does smell like the fragrance advertised I will but again.
