This perfume compares well to the real one. I enjoyed the long lasting wear, and the amount of intensity. It was not overbearing, but strong enough to be noticed. I was worried it would have a loud smell of alcohol, as many perfumes do, but it does not at all !!

I really love this perfume, but had to dock one star for the staying power. I lose the scent by midday if it's not on my clothes. This is perfect for daily use for me - I love warm scents and this checks all the boxes for me without being too sweet or cloying.

Was a little hesitant on trying out a dupe for YSL's black opium, but I am glad I did. It smells almost exactly like black opium and it really caught me off guard how similar it smells to it. If anything, I like Dossier's version more! Will be trying out more of their perfumes.

I bought this perfume for my 19 year old daughter for Christmas as one of her Christmas gifts and she loved it. She screamed with delight. Her goal was to layer both perfumes ( Woody Oakmoss and Ambery Vanilla) and the combination was a great success!

I compared this to my best friend's bottle of YSL Black Opium and we couldn't tell the difference between the two! I'm so glad I bought this because I couldn't afford YSL. I also love the magnetic top - what a nice touch! I didn't even notice Dossier had this feature on their bottles.

I was obsessed with YSL Black Opium ever since my hair dresser was wearing it. However, I just couldn't stomach the price :( Then I saw a Dossier ad and I read some reviews, took the plunge and I was NOT disappointed. I just love this perfume - it's everything I wanted it to be - it lasts a nice long time and is an exact DUPE for Black Opium! I'm obsessed.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS it smells amazing i thought i wasnt going to really like this because i was buying it blind but i absolutely love it it smells floral at first when you spray it but when it dries down you start to smell the sweet vanilla im going to try their spicy vanilla next.

I LOVE me a vanilla perfume..but I dont really get too much of it on my skin which is a bummer because I was really hoping for a sultry vanilla scent. I have never tried black opium but I came here with the intent to try this to know what the hype was about. With that said I think it's a beautiful scent. I pull jasmine and orange blossom and MAYBE slight slight patchouli.. I mean slight.. there's some really addicting coming in at the dry down but I cant pin point it. Either way, I definitely think it's a keep for me the more I smell it.

The first time I sprayed this i disliked the scent a lot. Ive never been a black opium fan, but i decided to keep this frangrance and give it a fair chance. I wore this scent to work and my co workers absolutely loved the smell. Kinda won me over after wearing a few times, You get sweet and sassy all in one. Thank you dossier for your amazing prices and makes spot on dupes . we can all smell good and be bougie on a budget. I cant wait to try more fragrances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The original Black Opium was the first perfume I fell in love with, way back when it first came out, and since I would only wear it for nostalgia I wanted to try to cheaper option. Side by side, this didn't smell like Black Opium at all to me. I get vanilla, caramel, and medicinal cherry, but all combined in a very artificial smelling syrupy sweetness which just came off really cloying and chemical. I think dupes are pretty individual, and I've seen some people say it smelled spot on for them. Maybe it'll smell spot on for you. But I just found it pretty unpleasant and disappointing, personally. Points for good performance, though.
