Grabbed one at a mega-store at a discounted price not knowing if I was going to like it. I loved both flavors that were in it (Donuts and Cookie Dough). By the time I went back, all the boxes were gone and now I'm sad I didn't grab the entire palet before they ran out.

It had an amazing flavor and I kept checking the ingredients because I was so shocked it tasted so good with barely any sugar.

The exterior is made up of a chocolate layer that adds a touch of sweetness. The texture is very appealing: soft, moist, and chewy. These bars are great for on the go, a sweet but health-conscious snack. I love the low calorie count of only 190 cal, 12 g of protein, and 12 g of fiber. Definitely a win, and highly recommend.

These are very chewy, but I definitely get the "cookie dough" taste. My only real complaint is that it does leave a gritty texture in your mouth after eating. It's a little unpleasant if you don't have some water on hand.

In my most recent two orders, I've noticed a change of taste and texture to all of the bar flavors. They taste artificial and have a gritty, tough texture. They were originally our favorite protein bar but there's been a definite decline in quality and flavor.

So when I found the TRUBAR in Cookie Dough flavor, I was skeptical—because let’s be real, “healthy” and “cookie dough” don’t usually belong in the same sentence. But this one surprised me. First off, it actually tastes like dessert—not like one of those bars that pretends to be a treat but tastes like compressed sawdust. It’s soft, has that nostalgic cookie dough vibe, and just enough sweetness to make it feel like I’m indulging… without the guilt. And honestly, one bar is all it takes to totally satisfy my sweet tooth. I love that it’s packed with real ingredients, has fiber, and no added junk. It’s become my go-to when I want something sweet but still want to feel good afterward. I literally keep one in my bag at all times now. It’s that good. I love these bars! They are the best. The only reason I omitted one star is because my last several orders don’t have the sea salt on them. I understood when it happened during the summer months due to heat but it wasn’t extremely hot during my last shipment. The salt is just the little extra that makes them better than all other brands.

They taste pretty good and the ingredients are clean! My husband needs two to feel full but one actually satisfy my hungry/sweet cravings. I really enjoy these and would purchase them myself
