This one is not sweet enough to feel like you're getting a cheat meal. I treat this one like a usual protein bar, with that said, it is quite good. If you want a quick fix that will hold you over until you can get a full meal, but with not too many calories and with a protein focus, I would recommend these bars and this flavor.

Best plant based vegan protein bar on the market hands down. Other ones either taste like protein bars or have an odd taste but TruBars are by far the tastiest and I have it as a dessert every day. The cookie dough is by far my favorite, with the birthday cake one being my next favorite. I take them with me on road trips and on hikes and eat them at home, honestly my day isn’t complete without one lol. I just wish they were a bit more affordable, because it’s hard to keep up with the cost especially when times are tougher, but if it means them keeping the same quality then what can you do.

Easily the best protein bar I’ve ever tasted. All the Trubar flavors I have tasted are good, but this one is next level.

So yummy!! Takes me back to Mom cutting the crusts off my Sammy! I so dig that I am getting a nice protein hit, but feel like I'm chowing down on a candy bar!!

PB & Jelly Favorite Trubar by far. Very tasty and perfect texture. Excellent substitute for the classic breaded sandwich. Hard to believe it is plant based. YUM!

I have a lot of trouble with protein bars hurting my stomach this one does not and it tastes phenomenal and who don't love PB&J

I had tried these bars back a few years when I fist began enjoying TruBars. I was not impressed. But everyone (thing) deserves a second chance so I got them again.....MUCH BETTER!!!! They are a light chew, not hard with little taste like before. The taste is delish - a LOT like PB&J - YUMMMMMMM!!!!

Here’s a tip: when you want to eat one of these, stick it in your pocket for a bit to let it warm up. It’s good as is, but the warmth makes it taste like a fudgy, underbaked cookie. This was the first flavor I ever tried and I couldn’t believe how decadent it was for a bar.

There is no consistency, some packages it tastes like a real bar, others it’s clumpy, hard to chew
