I tried a lot of protein bars, and a lot of them have that gritty texture or funky aftertaste that makes it hard to get through the whole bar and want to eat again. the TRU Bar in Oh Oh Cookie Dough totally surprised m in the best way possible. The texture is smooth and really not gritty at all. It actually tasted like a treat. There was no strange lingering flavor afterward. It’s sweet without being overwhelming and has that cookie dough vibe that feels like a cheat, even though it’s packed with good-for-you ingredients. I will definitely be repurchasing this bar in some different flavors. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed

I have enjoyed every flavor I have purchased some ranging to a lot others to I'm not sure if I would buy again. That being said, this is the one that has surpassed my expectations and is a new favorite. I loved the peanut butter cup one and for this to have the jelly kick to it really blew me away. Highly recommend to anyone who is curious to try!

These are my favorite so far. I love these. They are a great texture, not too chewy, or sticky. Not too sweet, but sweet enough that they kinda taste like a treat to me. I love that they’re clean and not full of crapola like other bars out there. And I don’t have to gag eating them. I hate the bars that use dates as their main ingredient. I tried to like them bc they’re clean too, but I have resigned to the fact I just hate dates. Thank God these don’t have dates in them. Yummy! I’ll keep eating them if you keep making them :)

The texture was good and the ingredients are pretty clean which I enjoy. A little bit higher carb than I like but isn’t bad compared to others. Overall it is a pretty good bar and would want to repurchase to try other flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bar has a thick creamy texture that gives me the vibes of raw cookie dough. It tastes alright but not cookie flavor for me. It is pretty small and in my opinion 12g of protein against 23g of carbs is not the best. It is plant based so it doesn’t have that bad after taste. Cane sugar in the composition? I know it’s organic and bla bla bla but not my first choice for sweetener on a “fitness” product. I am not the crazy person about sugars or anything like that but when I compare with other products I tried before this one is not my first choice. But I need to admit that not having that bad after taste is a dream. I just wish it had more protein in it. But my conclusion is that this is not a bad product just not my favorite.

I love everything about this bar - taste, fiber & protein content. BUT the saturated fat content is very high. I hope the company decreases the saturated fat with so many (especially those in the market to buy healthy protein bars) wanting to eliminate saturated fat.

Over recent years, my favorite snack has become a somewhat unconventional choice: protein bars. I’ve tried numerous brands, and yet my favorite (BY FAR) are TRUBARS. They taste incredibly delicious, yet have less than 10g of sugar per bar. They have cute, catchy flavor names. They are a softer texture (particularly nice for someone with braces, like myself). They are vegan, free of sugar alcohols and allergens, and non-GMO. Best of all, they are created FOR women BY women. I will forever remain a loyal customer!
