I like using TurboTax, but I am also noticing other options being advertised. I don't like the fact I have to re-enter info, whenever I review whatever I have already entered...mainly basic info such as yes, no, etc.

Helpful and generally pretty easy to use. Wish it explained how it got some of the numbers better as it does not make it clear. Also tried to charge $45 for using my federal refund so beware!!

TurboTax worked fine it it seemed to be a little more difficult or complicated to use for the 2025 tax year in comparison to the 2024 tax year. Information provided via "help" could or should or can be a bit more specific.

Takes longer and longer to step through questions that apply to 0.01% or fewer people as they "improve" the product. Ads now put in your face too - even though you have paid for the product. Unacceptably bad but not so bad that I will switch yet. :)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it excellent for doing my taxes. I want to be able to download Turbo tax on my computer. I do not want to do my taxes online and do not want my tax information stored in the cloud.

Talking with a specialist was very helpful. The chat/AI help was terrible and did not respond to my questions in any meaningful way. I finally had to call a specialist whom I was able to speak with after an approximately 15 minutes on hold.

It is not your fault but all the extra info needed is frustrating because I did not know I needed it until I got to the place where it needed to be entered

TurboTax did not transfer my data from previous years returns. Data from previous returns was not added to history records. Only data from 2025 is in history.

Turbo tax always tells me I owe penalties when I have paid in over 115% of the prior year tax liability when the tax law says if you pay in that much you don't owe a penalty. I am tired of using TT and will other tax software next year.

I've been using TurboTax for years and I'm never disappointed by how you are always so current and accurate with the new rules from the Federal and California governorments.
